Motorola Moto G42 unveiled today, sale to start on July 11

After launching Moto G52 in the Indian market recently, the Motorola India has launched its next offering today. The brand unveiled its new device G42 on July 4. Featuring a design finished by PMMA acrylic glass, and brilliant colour options, the Moto G 42 has sleek design and powerful tech features.

Moto G42 price and sale date

With a super sleek design at the most pocket-friendly price ever, the newly launched Moto G 42 is priced Rs12,999. The device will go on first sale on July 11 via Flipkart and at leading retail stores.

With an amazing 6.4” FHD+AMOLED display and more that gives cinematic experience every time. The smartphone will be launched in two available in two colours- Atlantic Green & Metallic Rosé.

Weighing just 174.5 grams, the Moto G 42 features IP52 Water Repellent Design that protects the phone from spills & splashes.

Coming to the battery, the Moto G 42 is powered by an incredible 5000 mAh battery and fast 20W TurboPowe charger which gives hours of battery life in just minutes of charging.

Already available in the global market, the Moto G42 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC which is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Talking about the camera, the smartphone will have a triple camera configuration on the back with a 50MP main lens. The main lens is also paired with an aperture of f/1.8 and supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080 videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera on Moto G42 have a 16MP selfie shooter for your selfie and video calls.

The Moto G 42 is also equipped with the additional features such as a fingerprint scanner on the right spine for enhanced protection. The phone has stereo speakers and also features a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS . Furthermore, the gadget comes pre-installed with MyUX and the Android 12 operating system.

Other G series smartphones

Before G42, Motorola introduced Moto G22 and Moto G 52 in India. The Moto G 22 and G52 were launched by the Motorola on April 8 and April 25, respectively.

Featuring a hole-punch display with 90Hz refresh rate, the Moto G 52 is offered in Charcoal Grey and Porcelain White colour options. Moto G 52 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 SoC.

The budget Moto G 22 features a hole-punch display design and quad rear cameras. It comes with a 16MP selfie camera and features a quad camera setup on the rear comprising 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units. Moto G22 features a 6.5 inch 90Hz HD+ LCD and water-repellent design. The Motorola Moto G22 has face unlock system.
