Motorola Moto G42 goes on first sale today

Sale of the recently launched Moto G42 with Snapdragon 680 and 50MP triple cameras started today. The brand unveiled the Moto G 42 in the India ON July 4. With a design finished by PMMA acrylic glass, and brilliant colour options, the Moto G 42 comes with a sleek design and powerful tech features.

The brand known for releasing budget category smartphone with amazing spec sheets and camera quality has introduced the Moto G42 at Rs Rs12,999.  The device is available for sale via Flipkart and other leading retail stores.

Featuring an amazing 6.4” FHD+AMOLED display and more, the smartphone is available in two colours- Atlantic Green & Metallic Rosé.

The Moto G 42 features IP52 Water Repellent Design that protects the phone from spills & splashes and it weighs just 174.5 grams.

Powered by an incredible 5000 mAh battery and fast 20W TurboPowe charger, the Moto G42 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC which is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.  The fast 20W TurboPowe charger gives hours of battery life in just minutes of charging.

Coming to the camera, the smartphone will have a triple camera configuration on the back with a 50MP main lens. The main lens is also paired with an aperture of f/1.8 and supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080 videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera on Moto G42 have a 16MP selfie shooter for your selfie and video calls.

Additional features such as a fingerprint scanner on the right spine for enhanced protection, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are offered in Moto G 42.

The Moto G 42 supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS . Furthermore, the gadget comes pre-installed with MyUX and the Android 12 operating system.

The devices of Motorola are known for their consistency and premium design with good camera quality and other features. The brand has launched many smartphones this year and now the brand is set for yet another launch.

Other G series smartphones

Before G42, Motorola launched Moto G22 and Moto G 52 in India. The Moto G 22 and G52 were launched by the Motorola on April 8 and April 25, respectively.

With a hole-punch display and 90Hz refresh rate, the Moto G 52 is available in Charcoal Grey and Porcelain White colour options. Moto G 52 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 SoC.

The budget Moto G 22 comes with a hole-punch display design and quad rear cameras. With a quad camera setup on the rear comprising 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units, Moto G22 features a 6.5 inch 90Hz HD+ LCD and water-repellent design. The Moto G22 comes with face unlock system.
