Motorola Edge 70 Leak Reveals Familiar Design with Subtle Upgrades

Highlights

  • Motorola Edge 70 leaked renders reveal a familiar design with a dual-curved 6.7-inch pOLED panel, a triple-camera setup and a vegan leather finish.
  • Expected Specs – Rumoured to feature the 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main camera, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and 12GB RAM.
  • The render hints at a September 23 date, but reports suggest Motorola may follow its usual yearly release cycle.

It has been just days since the launch of the Moto Edge 60 on April 24 and now new leaked renders have surfaced showing what the upcoming Moto Edge 70 might look like. While not much can be confirmed at the moment, it seems the Edge 70 will keep a design language similar to the recently launched Edge 60.

In a recent report, Android Headlines shared the images and some key details about the next Motorola phone in line.

The leaked renders show a dual-curved display, which is said to be a 6.7-inch pOLED panel.

On the back, the phone keeps the triple-camera setup in a familiar island layout and features a vegan leather finish, just like the Edge 60. New colour options might also be in the pipeline likely expanding on the blue and green variants from its predecessor.

While Motorola hasn’t confirmed the specs yet, rumours suggest the Edge 70 will use the same 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main camera as the Edge 60.

Under the hood, it may get a performance boost with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, the same chip expected in the upcoming Razr 2025 and 12GB of RAM, a solid setup for a phone expected to cost around $400.

Motorola Edge 70 – Launch Timeline (Expected)

The render shows a September 23 date on the lock screen and Android Headlines speculates the launch might be on September 24.

However, some reports have cast doubt on that since Motorola usually follows a yearly release cycle for its Edge series. Moreover, the date falls on a Tuesday, while September 23 is actually a Monday, suggesting the date might just be a placeholder rather than a hidden clue.
