Motorola Edge 30 set to be launched in India on May 12

Motorola is all set to launch its Moto Edge 30 in India after global launch. According to the latest update, Motorola Moto Edge 30 will be launched in India on May 12. The date has been revealed by the Company through its Twitter handle.

Termed as the ‘world’s thinnest 5G smartphone’, Moto Edge 30 offers a rich & immersive cinematic experience with 10-bit Billion Color Display. The smartphone can be purchased at Flipkart, Reliance Digital and at other leading retail stores.

The price of the Indian version of the Motorola Edge 30 is yet to be revealed. However, the stripped-down version of the Moto Edge 30 Pro is available in India at around Rs 50,000.

Motorola India is expected to hold the launch event online at 12 noon on May 12.

Motorola Moto Edge 30 specifications

Featuring a 6.5-inch FHD+ pOLED 10-bit display that supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, the upcoming Motorola Moto Edge 30 will have a hole-punch cut-out for the selfie camera. The 6nm 5G processor of Motorola Edge 30 is coupled with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Android updates

Motorola has announced to offer three years of security and assured Android 13 and Android 14 updates. The smartphone ships with Android 12.

Talking about the camera, the Moto Edge 30 has a triple system that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens that can also double up as a macro lens, and a depth sensor. There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The Motorola Moto Edge 30 comes with a 4,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and NFC are other connectivity options included with Motorola Moto Edge 30.

An in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C Audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support are other features of the Motorola Moto Edge 30.

Motorola Moto Edge 30 expected price in India

The official price of the Motorola Moto Edge 30 be made public. Based on its price in Europe, Motorola Moto Edge 30 is expected to cost between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. It is available in European market at EUR 449.99 (around Rs 36,000).
