Motorola, under Lenovo, has confirmed the launch of a new smartphone called the Moto X70 Air. The device is scheduled to debut in China by the end of October with its first teaser now live. Here’s what we know about the phone so far.

The teaser highlights the Moto X70 Air’s slim and lightweight design along with an AI-driven user experience. The official poster shows the device’s right edge housing the power and volume buttons, while the back panel is expected to include at least two rear cameras. Specific technical details have not yet been disclosed by the company.
The timing of this announcement comes as the iPhone 17 Air has been making headlines for its ultra-thin body.
Apple’s latest slim offering is just 5.6mm thick, weighs 165 grams, and omits a SIM card slot to achieve the design. While Motorola has not revealed the Moto X70 Air’s dimensions, the teaser suggests a sleek build with a dual-camera setup on the rear.
In a separate development, a Motorola smartphone with model number XT2533-4 was recently spotted on TENAA in China. This listing revealed a 6.72-inch 1.5K LCD display, a 2.4GHz processor, up to 16GB RAM, and as much as 512GB of storage. It is also said to pack a 7,000mAh battery, a 32MP front camera, and a dual rear camera system consisting of 50MP + 8MP sensors.
However, this device weighs 210 grams and measures 8.7mm in thickness, which contrasts with the slim profile teased for the Moto X70 Air.
While some speculate that the TENAA listing could be linked to the Moto X70 Air, earlier leaks have suggested it may actually belong to the upcoming Moto G36 5G.
With teasers now live and leaks surfacing, more details about the Moto X70 Air are expected in the coming weeks ahead of its October-end launch.
