The Note 16 Pro is the premium model of the two. It has a super slim 6.75mm body, but it’s not just about looks. It also features an “anti-collision beam” structure and a “safety airbag” design. Simply put, it’s built to handle drops better than you’d expect. It also comes with IP66 + IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance.
On the front, you get a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a super smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 2160Hz PWM dimming and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. Inside, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The phone packs a 6,200mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, so you’ll spend less time plugged in. For cameras, there’s a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide setup on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
Other features include dual SIM, Android 16-based Flyme AIOS 2, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and stereo speakers.
The regular Note 16 is the more affordable model in the series and has slightly toned-down specs. It also has a 6.78-inch screen but uses an LCD panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DC dimming, and up to 1050 nits of brightness.
It runs on the UNISOC T8200 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. For photos, it offers a 50MP main + 2MP depth camera on the back, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
One highlight is its massive 6,600mAh battery, which supports 40W fast charging. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 6, and IP65 water and dust resistance.
