Lava has expanded its Yuva lineup in India with the launch of the new Lava Yuva Star 3, succeeding last year’s Lava Yuva Star 2. The latest entry-level smartphone is targeted at first-time users, with an emphasis on dependable performance and extended battery life.
Commenting on the launch, Sumit Singh, Head – Product, Lava International Limited, said, “The Yuva series is designed for first-time users, with a focus on performance and design in the 4G portfolio. The Lava Yuva Star 3 is priced at Rs. 7,499 in India for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It is available in Indus Black and Siachen White colour options.

The company is offering a one-year warranty along with free doorstep service support. The handset will be available across retail outlets nationwide starting March 2026.
The dual-SIM Lava Yuva Star 3 runs on Android 15 Go Edition. It sports a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the device is an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded up to 8GB using unused storage space through the virtual RAM feature.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone features an AI-supported rear camera setup headlined by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, it houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device comes with an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and splashes.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. For security, the phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Lava Yuva Star 3 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. The battery is claimed to provide up to 30 hours of talk time and up to 340 hours of standby time on a single charge.
The handset measures 164.9×76.1×8.5mm and weighs 193.7g.
