Lava Agni 2S, a successor to Agni 2 5G, is set for launch in India before year-end.
The new model retains most features of Agni 2 with an upgraded processor.
Priced lower than Agni 2 5G, offering an affordable yet feature-rich option.
Lava, a homegrown smartphone brand, has recently made headlines with the launch of the Lava Agni 2 5G.
Garnering positive feedback for its user-friendly stock Android interface and cost-effective hardware, Lava is now set to introduce the Lava Agni 2S.
Now new reports have hinted at its launch in India, expected before the end of the year, marking another significant step for Lava in the competitive smartphone arena.
Reports from 91mobiles suggest that the Lava Agni 2S will largely mirror the features of its predecessor, the Agni 2, with a few modifications.
This new model is anticipated to maintain the same specifications, particularly in terms of design and functionality, with the primary change being an updated processor.
Given the similarities with the Agni 2, the Lava Agni 2S is expected to be priced slightly lower than the current Agni 2’s Rs 21,999 tag.
This strategic pricing could make the Agni 2S an attractive option for consumers seeking quality smartphones at an affordable price.
Currently, the exact launch date remains under wraps, but we should be getting an official word soon.
The Lava Agni 2 5G, launched in May, was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a robust 4,700mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging, and a high-quality curved AMOLED 120Hz display.
