It was previously reported in 2023 that Googleis working on a new on-device assistant called Pixie, designed specifically for Pixel phones. It was supposed to launch with the Pixel 9, but later no update was shared and we haven’t really heard anything since then. However, this changes now as a new report now shares some exciting updates on Google’s Assistant.
According to an inside source at Google via a recent Android Authority report, it can be confirmed that the Pixel 10 will finally introduce this rumoured assistant. But the name is not what we heard earlier as the new report suggests a new name, Pixel Sense!

In the Android Authority report, it is revealed that Google describes Pixel Sense in one sentence, “Get the most personalised experience based on the things you do on your Pixel.”
Like the original Pixie concept, Pixel Sense will pull data from other Google apps to offer a more intelligent and personalised experience. Some of the apps it will work with include the following names –
Calendar
Chrome
Contacts & Phone
Docs & Files
Gmail
Keep Notes
Maps
Messages
Photos & Screenshots
Recorder
Wallet
YouTube & YT Music
Aurelius (likely an unreleased app)
Pixel Sense will also process media files like text, images, AI-generated content and metadata. It will work similarly to Pixel Screenshots, allowing users to organise and search screenshots more efficiently.
“Pixel Sense processes your screenshots to identify metadata and learn from it. Use the Pixel Sense App to organise and search screenshots,” the latest report quotes.
While there is not much info on how Pixel sense will work, last year’s report on possible Google Assistant stated, “Experience fast and intelligent help, no matter if you are online or offline. […] Your data stays private—visible only to you, not even Google can see it.”

Samsung showcased various futuristic display technologies at MWC including a foldable laptop, a pocket-sized gaming console and stretchable screens.
The foldable laptop called Flexible Briefcase transforms into a sleek briefcase when closed and features an 18.1-inch QD-OLED display.
Other innovations include the OLED Tile for a bezel-less TV experience and the Flex Gaming foldable gaming console with a 7.2-inch OLED screen.
Samsungdazzled the crowd with a series of futuristic and concept display technology at the MWC 2025. These include a foldable TV that fits in a briefcase, a pocket-sized gaming console and even a stretchable screen. These innovative displays are all built on special OLED technology, but they remain just concepts for now.
Here’s everything that Samsung showcases.
Samsung’s Foldable Briefcase Laptop

One of the standout innovations is the “Flexible Briefcase”, a foldable laptop that transforms into a sleek briefcase when closed. It features an 18.1-inch QD-OLED display with a QHD+ resolution (2,000 x 2,664 pixels) and 184 PPI pixel density.
The unique design includes built-in handles, making it easy to carry like an actual briefcase. Samsung has also integrated power and volume buttons into the casing for added convenience.
“This device can be transformed into a bag-like form with grips for easy carrying. When unfolded, it servers as an 18.1-inch tablet, equivalent to the size of two standard tablets. And can be folded into a compact briefcase for convenience,” Samsung explains.
A closer look at Samsung’s Foldable Briefcase Laptop. (Image credit – NoteBookCheck)
When opened, the Flexible Briefcase reveals a large 18.1-inch display with a 4.5R folding radius ensuring durability. The QD-OLED panel promises sharp and vibrant visuals, though its pixel density is slightly lower than the Galaxy Book4 Ultra (212 PPI).
While still a prototype, this foldable laptop could be a game-changer, especially for creators and professionals. Samsung has been experimenting with foldable laptops for a while with patents dating back to 2022. The Flex Note concept was an earlier version of this idea, but the Flexible Briefcase looks more refined and has a better chance of making it to market.
Samsung’s Other Display Innovations at MWC 2025
OLED Tile – The Bezel-Less TV Experience

Samsung also showcased OLED Tile, a display concept designed to create a seamless TV experience without visible borders. It uses ten 6.8-inch OLED panels with a super-thin 0.6mm bezel making it almost invisible when placed together.
“The OLED Tile demonstration showcases full-screen technology. The tile’s ultra-thin bezels create the appearance of a single display when all panels are illuminated,” said Samsung.
This means users can assemble multiple tiles to create a larger display, without the chunky bezels seen on traditional TVs.
Flex Gaming – Samsung’s Foldable Gaming Console

Samsung also introduced Flex Gaming, a concept foldable gaming console that features a 7.2-inch foldable OLED screen.
It looks a lot like a Nintendo Switch, but instead of detachable controllers, the main feature is its ability to fold in half for easy portability. Samsung has been leading the way in foldable smartphone technology, and this console seems like an extension of that expertise.
If it ever becomes a real product, it could be a big deal for portable gaming, offering a large display without sacrificing pocketability.
Stretchable Screens – A Display That Expands on Demand
Samsung showcases Stretchable Screens at the MWC 2025. (Image credit – The SUN/Samsung)
Another eye-catching innovation was Samsung’s stretchable display, showcased under glass at the event.
Samsung claims this screen can stretch by up to 125%, meaning users could pull on it to increase display size when needed. Despite its flexibility, it still packs 120 pixels per inch (PPI), ensuring sharp visuals.
Will These Concepts Become Real Products?
All these devices are still in prototype stage. As of now, there’s no word on when or if they’ll hit the market. However, if Samsung’s history tells us anything about turning experimental tech into real products, we might not have to wait too long to see foldable laptops, stretchable screens and pocket-sized gaming consoles become mainstream.

Realme has showcased its Interchangeable-Lens Concept Smartphone at MWC 2025. First teased a few days ago, the concept phone was revealed alongside the company’s latest AI imaging technologies. Here’s what we know about the concept phone for now.

Let’s take a look back at a big moment from realme’s Launch Event at MWC 2025, where the Interchangeable-Lens Concept went head-to-head with the iPhone in a photography showdown. Who came out on top?
#realmeMWC2025 #TechDrivesStyleThrives pic.twitter.com/F2CR1gAnuu
— realme Global (@realmeglobal) March 3, 2025
Sharing an unboxing video for the concept lens, Realme writes, “You’re stuck choosing between a smartphone & a pro camera… so we gave you BOTH. 😏📷 Why pick one when you can have the best of both worlds? At MWC 2025, realme is unveiling our FIRST interchangeable lens concept smartphone. 📸🔥 Imagine switching lenses like a pro but keeping it all in your pocket. Game-changer? We think so.”
Chinese brands have been adopting a different approach from Apple and Samsung, and experimenting with larger camera sensors on their flagship phones. While this has improved camera quality, it has also led to bulkier camera modules. Samsung has yet to adopt larger sensors due to this issue. However, Realme and Xiaomi continue to push boundaries.
Now, Realme has introduced a concept phone that supports interchangeable lenses, allowing users to mount Leica M lenses on the back of a smartphone.
How Does The Realme Interchangeable-Lens Concept Phone Work?

The Realme concept phone features a custom Sony 1-inch sensor without a built-in lens. Instead, users can attach different lenses manually. At MWC, Realme showcased two options, which include a 73mm portrait lens and a 234mm telephoto lens.
Caption – Realme Interchangeable-Lens concept phone comes with a 10x telephoto lens. (Image credit – Realme)
For comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 10x telephoto lens with a 230mm focal length. But unlike Samsung’s built-in zoom, Realme’s concept allows for DSLR-quality optics and natural background blur.
Realme Interchangeable-Lens Concept Phone – Hands On Experience
GSMArena’s hands-on report describes the setup, “The camera island’s frame is a sort of special mount, which can take a Leica M mount screw-on adapter, which allows you to attach Leica M lenses. That means that all of Leica’s considerable lens options are available to you – the Leica M is the oldest actively used camera mount today.”
A closer look at the Realme interchangeable lens concept. (Image credit – GSMArena)
It also reveals that the concept phone runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is now two years old. The design resembles Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra with a dual-tone Silver Chrome finish.

The GSMArena hands-on article also mentions, “Realme had a 73mm (around 3x) and a 230mm (10x) equivalent lenses. However, if you’re supplying your own lenses, you’d need to account for the crop factor, which is around 2.47 for a 1-inch type phone sensor. That would make a classic 50mm lens (around a 2x compared to a phone’s main sensor) a 123mm, or around 5.4x.”
Xiaomi’s Similar Concept Phone in 2022
Realme isn’t the first to experiment with interchangeable smartphone lenses. Xiaomi introduced a similar concept with the 12S Ultra in 2022.
However, Xiaomi’s version took things further with a lens mount that included the sensor inside the lens attachment and was attached magnetically similar to MagSafe. It also drew power from the phone and could transfer data wirelessly.
For now, Realme’s interchangeable-lens phone is just a concept. But if companies like Realme and Xiaomi can combine DSLR-like optics with AI-powered smartphone image processing, we might see these modular camera phones become real consumer products in the future.
