With GTA VI on the horizon, Rockstar Games has given Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced a significant visual boost. Nvidia has confirmed that the blockbuster open-world title now supports DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation. It is a technology designed to deliver sharper visuals and higher frame rates, especially for players using GeForce RTX 50 and 40-series graphics cards.

The update works alongside GTA V Enhanced’s existing ray tracing, and comes with Nvidia’s latest Game Ready driver (version 580.97), which also optimises the updated Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced.

Performance Gains for GTA V Enhanced

According to Nvidia, playing at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled and maxed-out settings will see frame rates on the RTX 50 Series jump by roughly 3.9×, making for a noticeably smoother, more responsive experience. At 2560×1440 and 1080p, the performance lift averages 3.1×, with some configurations even hitting the game’s 500 FPS cap.

Owners of the Legacy PC version of GTA V and GTA Online can move to the Enhanced edition for free.

This newer version adds fresh content such as upgraded vehicles from Hao’s Special Works, the GTA Online Career Progress tracker, the option to join GTA+ Membership and other exclusive updates.

Other Games Getting DLSS 4 Update

The same update brings improvements to other titles. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced now includes a Very High graphics setting, a new Dark Rot mode, developer commentary, and an upgraded photo mode, all with DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Reflex for better frame rates and lower input lag.

The newly released Early Access title Supraworld, a first-person puzzle-metroidvania from Supra Games, launches with full day-one support for DLSS 4, Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA.

Meanwhile, Titan Quest II returns in Early Access with DLSS 4 built in, offering faster performance, cleaner visuals, and reduced latency via NVIDIA Reflex.

AirPods Could Soon Get Live In-Person Translation with iOS 26

0

Highlights

  • iOS 26 beta reveals Apple is testing real-time multilingual translation for AirPods, expanding beyond FaceTime and Messages.
  • Users may activate translation by pressing both AirPods stems.
  • Supported languages at launch could include English, Portuguese, French, and German.
  • The feature is expected to work with AirPods Pro (2nd gen) and AirPods 4, relying on Apple Intelligence.

It appears Apple may be preparing to bring real-time in-person translation to its AirPods lineup. According to findings reported by 9to5Mac, the latest iOS 26 developer beta has the feature to hold real-world conversations across multiple languages with translations delivered directly into their ears.

This feature was previously limited to FaceTime, phone calls and Messages.  Here’s everything we know about this.

How the AirPods Translation Feature Might Work?

Developers spotted a new system asset in the beta showing a gesture that involves pressing both AirPods stems simultaneously. The asset is tied to the Translate app and includes multilingual text in English, Portuguese, French, and German, suggesting these languages may be supported at launch.

An accompanying image displays the word “Hello” in several languages, with the gesture likely activating a Live Translation mode. The file is even named “Translate,” reinforcing the link to this new capability.

The feature appears intended for AirPods Pro (2nd generation) and the upcoming AirPods 4, pointing to reliance on newer hardware for optimal performance.

The translation processing will not happen on the AirPods themselves. Instead, the function is expected to work in sync with Apple Intelligence on compatible iPhones. This means users will likely need a recent iPhone, possibly starting with the upcoming iPhone 17 series, to access it.

This isn’t really a surprise. Before iOS 26’s beta release, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple was developing an in-person translation feature for AirPods, and these latest findings suggest it may be nearing launch.

Current Language Support

Currently, Apple’s Live Translation supports

  • Languages – Chinese (Simplified), English (UK/US), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain)
  • Platforms – Messages, FaceTime, Phone (on Apple Intelligence-enabled devices)

Apple has not officially confirmed the feature. However, its inclusion in the iOS 26 beta suggests it could roll out alongside the public release of iOS 26 or possibly later this year.

FAQs

Q1. What new feature is Apple testing for AirPods in iOS 26?

Answer. Apple is testing a Live In-Person Translation feature for AirPods in iOS 26, allowing users to hold real-world conversations with real-time translations delivered directly into their ears.

Q2. How will users activate the Live Translation feature on AirPods?

Answer. According to the iOS 26 beta, users may activate Live Translation by pressing both AirPods stems simultaneously, triggering the Translate app to begin multilingual interpretation.

Q3. Which AirPods and iPhones will support the translation feature?

Answer. The feature is expected to work with AirPods Pro (2nd generation) and the upcoming AirPods 4, in sync with Apple Intelligence on newer iPhones, likely starting with the iPhone 17 series.

iPhone 17 Air Tipped to Feature Slimmer Design, A19 Pro Chip with Reduced GPU Cores

0

Highlights

  • The iPhone 17 Air is expected to replace the iPhone 16 Plus due to poor sales, featuring a notably thinner profile.
  • The iPhone 17 Air will likely use the A19 Pro chip with a reduced 5-core GPU, while the Pro models will get the full 6-core version.
  • 17 Air will be launched alongside iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max on September 9.

Among the things we already know about the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is that it is set to debut on September 9. Some reports have suggested that the iPhone 17 Air will replace the iPhone 16 Plus due to disappointing sales of the latter. Up until now, the new model’s ultra-thin profile has been at the centre of all discussions surrounding it. What we haven’t heard about is which chipset it will use. It seems recent reports are finally indulging in that.

iPhone 17 Air – Possible Chipset

According to prominent Chinese tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to ship with the A19 Pro processor but with a reduced 5-core GPU configuration. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro models will reportedly get the full 6-core GPU version of the chip.

This claim was spotted by MacRumors and marks the second time in recent months that the leaker has shared details about the iPhone 17 Air.

MacRumors report, meanwhile, notes that the GPU downgrade could be the result of “binning”, where chips with minor manufacturing variances are repurposed, or a measure to control heat in the slimmer chassis. However, everyday performance differences are expected to be minimal for most users.

The new leak challenges an earlier prediction from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said the iPhone 17 Air would use a standard A19 chip rather than the Pro version. Fixed Focus Digital also claims that the base iPhone 17 will be equipped with the regular A19 chip.

Previously, supply chain analyst Jeff Pu suggested that the entry-level model might use the A18 chip, but he has since revised his forecast to the A19.

When it comes to who to believe, we would recommend taking all the info with a grain of salt. As for tipster Fixed Focus Digital’s reputation, the account has over two million Weibo followers and has a history of accurate pre-launch leaks, including revealing the “iPhone 16e” branding for Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE replacement.

iPhone 17 Series – Launch Date and Models

Citing information from local telecom providers, German outlet Phone-ticker.de reports that Apple will announce the iPhone 17 series on September 9.  The pre-orders start starting September 12 and availability from September 19.

The series is expected to include four models, which are iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

FAQs

Q1. What is the expected launch date for the iPhone 17 Series?

Answer. Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 Series on September 9, with pre-orders beginning on September 12 and general availability starting September 19.

Q2. What models will be included in the iPhone 17 lineup?

Answer. The iPhone 17 lineup will include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Air model is expected to replace the iPhone 16 Plus.

Q3. What chipset will the iPhone 17 Air use, and how does it differ from the Pro models?

Answer. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature the A19 Pro chip with a reduced 5-core GPU, while the Pro models will use the full 6-core GPU version. This difference may help manage heat in the Air’s slimmer design.

Google is preparing to unveil its new Pixel 10 series at the upcoming Made by Google event on August 20, 2025. Much like last year’s Pixel 9, the Pixel 10 lineup appears to bring small yet meaningful improvements that could make it worth upgrading. The event will also see the debut of new versions of the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Google Pixel 10 Series.

Google Pixel 10 Series – Release Date and Availability

Preorders for the Pixel 10 series will open on August 20, 2025, the same day as the official reveal. Google will share all the details about the devices and their upgrades during the event. However, a report from WinFuture warns that supply chain issues could delay the Pixel 10 Pro Fold release until October 9.

The Pixel 10’s Google Store page is already live, showing the back of the standard model and offering a sign-up for an “exclusive offer.” It is a single-use discount valid from August 20 to September 4 for eligible devices purchased via the Google Store.

In India, Google Store subscribers who signed up by August 19 at 12:30 PM local time will get an exclusive offer for purchasing all of the new phones aside from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Google Pixel 10 Series – Models and Specs

The lineup will include four models –

  • Pixel 10
  • Pixel 10 Pro
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will feature upgraded cameras with up to 8K video support and 16GB RAM, compared to the standard Pixel 10’s 12GB RAM. Screen sizes remain consistent with past models, 6.3″ for the Pixel 10 and Pro, and 6.8″ for the Pro XL.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature a 6.4″ outer screen and an 8″ Super Actua Flex inner display, paired with 16GB RAM for high-level multitasking.

Google Pixel 10 Series – Key Upgrades (Rumoured)

While not a radical departure from the Pixel 9, the Pixel 10 introduces some notable changes:

  • Triple rear camera now available on the standard Pixel 10 with a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens joining the main and ultrawide cameras.
  • Main camera resolution drops from 50MP to 48MP, and ultrawide from 48MP to 13MP, reportedly using the same sensors as the Pixel 9A.
  • AI processing improvements are expected to offset these downgrades.
  • Google Tensor G5 processor for better performance.
  • Larger batteries – Pixel 10 – 4,970mAh; Pixel 10 Pro – 4,870mAh; Pixel 10 Pro XL – 5,200mAh.
  • 27W wired charging and 25W Qi2 wireless charging

Google Pixel 10 Series – Colours (Rumoured)

Tipster Evan Blass recently shared renders showing all launch colours including the long-rumoured Jade green. Android Headlines previously claimed that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will replace black and white options with Moonstone and Jade.

Alleged colours include –

  • Pixel 10 – Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, Limoncello
  • Pixel 10 Pro – Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL – Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, Jade
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold – Moonstone, Jade

Rumours also suggest the Pixel 10 Pro could get a Jade option, though this wasn’t shown in Blass’s renders. Confirmation is expected on launch day.

Google Pixel 10 Series – Expected Pricing (Rumoured)

Official pricing will be revealed on August 20, but leaks suggest the base pricing will start as follows –

  • Pixel 10 – $799 / INR 79,999 (256GB)
  • Pixel 10 Pro – $999 / INR 1,09,999 (256GB)

  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold – $1,799 / INR 1,72,999 (256GB)

These match the Pixel 9 launch prices, though the Pro XL is rumoured to start at 256GB instead of 128GB. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro Fold will also get 1TB storage options for the first time. Higher storage tiers will come at additional cost.

It has been just months since the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge debuted earlier this year and details about its successor are already emerging. According to multiple reports, the upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge has appeared on Geekbench, revealing it will feature Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset. Here’s everything we know about this.

Galaxy S26 Edge on Geekbench With 8 Elite 2

The Geekbench listing shows a Samsung device with the model code SM-S947U running what appears to be the “for Galaxy” variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. This model is widely believed to be the upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge.

This will be the first benchmark appearance of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, almost more than a month before its official launch.

In Geekbench 6.4 tests, the chip scored 3,393 in single-core and 11,515 in multi-core performance. This is around a 9% improvement over last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, which typically scores about 3,125 and 9,932 in the same tests. While this is a solid gain, it’s not as dramatic as some early leaks suggested, possibly because the tested unit’s prime CPU core was capped at 4.0GHz, well below its expected peak of 4.74GHz. This is typical for pre-release hardware, meaning there’s still untapped performance potential.

image

The benchmark confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will retain a 6+2 CPU core setup with six efficiency cores clocked at 3.63GHz. It also introduces support for SME (Scalable Matrix Extensions), aimed at boosting AI and machine learning workloads.

The tested Galaxy S26 Edge prototype featured 12GB of RAM and was running Android 16, likely with an early build of Samsung’s One UI 8.0.

While direct performance comparisons with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 are not yet available, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 already outperforms Samsung’s Exynos 2600. The Exynos chip scores 2,155 in single-core and 7,788 in multi-core, even without operating at full power.

As for the official 8 Elite 2 launch, Qualcomm is expected to officially unveil the flagship chipset at the Snapdragon Summit on September 23.

FAQs

Q1. What processor will the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge use?

Answer. The Galaxy S26 Edge is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 “for Galaxy” variant, as revealed in a Geekbench listing for model SM-S947U.

Q2. How does the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 perform compared to its predecessor?

Answer. In Geekbench 6.4 tests, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 scored 3,393 in single-core and 11,515 in multi-core, about a 9% improvement over the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Q3. When will Qualcomm officially launch the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2?

Answer. Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 at the Snapdragon Summit on September 23.

Apple is gearing up to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup next month featuring a redesigned camera island. But before the real thing arrives, a counterfeit version of the Pro model has already hit the market. The images now circulating on social media show a complete iPhone 17 Pro look with the same oversized camera island.

Famous tipster Sonny Dickson on X (formerly Twitter) has shared some images of a fake iPhone 17 Pro phone. One image shows the iPhone phone box with a black iPhone variant photo on top, the next one shows the back of the fake silver iPhone and the last one shows the front of the phone with the display on.

This fake iPhone 17 Pro runs on Android and mimics iOS 18 (last year’s version) rather than the upcoming iOS 26. Its design flaws are easy to spot.  The display bezels aren’t symmetrical, the chin is noticeably wide and it appears to use an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED screen.

Surprisingly, the back design including the camera lenses is quite accurate, closely resembling renders of the genuine iPhone 17 Pro. Without placing it next to the real device, telling them apart could be tricky.

That’s why buyers should be cautious when purchasing an iPhone or any premium Android phone from unofficial sources, particularly when the price seems too good to be true.

iPhone 17 Pro – What To Expect?

The authentic iPhone 17 Pro is expected to bring notable camera upgrades with the selfie camera jumping from 12MP to 24MP and the 5x telephoto lens going from 12MP to 48MP. The main camera, however, is likely to stay the same with no change in sensor size or resolution.

Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 Pro chipset will deliver better performance, improved thermal management, and longer battery life. Leaks also suggest 12GB of RAM will come standard, up from last year’s 8GB.

FAQs

Q1. What is the fake iPhone 17 Pro running on?

Answer. The counterfeit iPhone 17 Pro runs on Android and mimics iOS 18, not the upcoming iOS 26. It features noticeable design flaws like asymmetrical bezels, a wide chin, and an LCD panel instead of AMOLED.

Q2. How accurate is the fake iPhone 17 Pro’s design?

Answer. Surprisingly, the back design including the camera lenses closely resembles leaked renders of the real iPhone 17 Pro, making it hard to distinguish without a side-by-side comparison.

Q3. What upgrades are expected in the real iPhone 17 Pro?

Answer. The genuine iPhone 17 Pro is expected to feature a 24MP selfie camera, a 48MP telephoto lens, Apple’s new A19 Pro chipset, and 12GB of RAM. The main camera is likely to remain unchanged.
