Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shaping up to be one of its sleekest foldables yet. According to new leaks, the device won’t just be thinner but it will also have slimmer bezels and a wider display.

Recent reports suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be thinner than expected and might even set a record for foldable phone thickness. Well-known leaker Ice Universe has now added more details through a series of new posts. Sharing a comparison, the leaker wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “I made a table to compare the body sizes of Samsung Fold6, Fold SE, and Fold7.”

For starters, the leak includes a size comparison between the new Fold 7 and its predecessor. When opened, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 measured 153.5 x 132.6mm. In comparison, the Fold 7 will be slightly taller and wider at 158.4 x 143.1mm. That also makes it a bit bigger than last year’s Galaxy Z Fold SE, which came in at 157.9 x 142.6mm.

What really stands out is how much thinner the Fold 7 is. Its thickness when open drops from 5.6mm on the Fold 6 to just 3.9mm, which is a major improvement. That’s even slimmer than the Fold SE, which had a 4.9mm profile.

In another post, Ice Universe shared that the bezels around the inner display will also be much thinner. While the Galaxy Z Fold 6 had 1.9mm bezels, the Fold 7 will reduce that to around 1mm. The upcoming Flip 7 is also expected to drop its bezels to just 1.2mm. This is a big step forward for foldables, which have often had chunkier bezels compared to regular smartphones.

Samsung is expected to officially reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July, so we won’t have to wait long to see all the details.

Every iOS update brings a number of new features and some of them sometimes look quite minor on paper. Nonetheless, most of these minor features are developed with the intent of making Apple userslives easier eventually. iOS 19 is in development and we are slowly getting reports revealing every such minor improvement that the brand is working on.

Apple is working on a small but useful new feature for iOS 19 that will make connecting to public Wi-Fi networks much simpler, according to Mark Gurman’s latest Power On newsletter. According to Gurman, “This new feature will let you enter that information on one device and have it synced to your other products.”

The feature is designed for places like hotels, gyms, and other public spots where you usually have to fill out a form to get online. With iOS 19, Apple plans to change that.

Gurman says this new feature will let your iPhone automatically sync public Wi-Fi details across all your Apple devices. That means if you sign in on one device, you won’t have to go through the same process again on your iPad or Mac.

The report explains, “What does this mean? Well, when you go to a new hotel, office building or gym, you’re often asked to fill out a web form on all your devices before you can access the internet. This new feature will let you enter that information on one device and have it synched to your other products. That should make things a bit more convenient next time you need to access a new Wi-Fi network.”

While iOS 19 is expected to bring major changes, Apple is also adding thoughtful little improvements like this to make everyday tasks smoother.

FAQs

Q1. How will iOS 19 make connecting to public Wi-Fi easier?

Q2. Will public Wi-Fi credentials sync across all Apple devices?

Answer. Yes, once a user signs into a public Wi-Fi network on their iPhone, the credentials will automatically sync to their iPads and Macs, preventing the need to repeat the login process.

Q3. Is this feature part of major iOS 19 changes or just a small improvement?

MediaTek is back with a new budget 4G chip named the Helio G200, but don’t expect big changes. Just like with the recently launched Dimensity 6400, which was nearly identical to the Dimensity 6300, the Helio G200 mostly sticks to the script of its predecessor the Helio G100. It comes with only a few tweaks here and there. Here’s what we know.

MediaTek Helio G200

Under the hood, the Helio G200 keeps the same octa-core setup as the G100. It packs two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, clocked at up to 2.2GHz and 2.0GHz, just like the G100. The GPU is still from the Mali-G57 family, but this time MediaTek says it’s slightly faster, now running at 1.1GHz.

Memory and storage support haven’t changed either. It still handles LPDDR4X RAM up to 4266Mbps and UFS 2.2 storage. Camera and display capabilities are also the same, including support for up to 200MP sensors, multi-frame noise reduction and 12-bit dual conversion gain (DCG) for better HDR video.

The chip can drive a Full HD+ display at 120Hz with MediaTek’s Intelligent Display Sync tech to save power by adjusting refresh rates dynamically.

Meanwhile, MediaTek isn’t directly comparing the G200 to the G100.  Instead, the chipmaker is focusing on how the G200 stacks up against “competitor alternative platforms.”

According to the company, the G200 offers 35% faster AnTuTu scores, 40% better single-core and 20% better multi-core Geekbench scores and 75% faster GPU performance with 30% better power efficiency in gaming.

On the connectivity side, the G200 includes an integrated Cat-13 4G LTE modem with support for dual 4G VoLTE, 4×4 MIMO, 256QAM and global bands. There’s also a new 4G DC SAR feature, which aims to improve messaging and social app performance in weak signal areas.

The Helio G200 is more of a refreshed Helio G100 than a truly new chip. While there are some performance boosts and power tweaks, it almost seems like what we have seen before now just dressed up with updated branding and marketing.
