Nothing is stepping into flagship territory with the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) and CEO Carl Pei has now revealed some interesting cues about the upcoming phones including its price. In a recently released device showcase video on the Android’s official YouTube Channel, we see Pei giving an introduction to the flagship. Here’s what we know based on the recent official word.

Nothing Phone (3) – Official Device Showcase

In the video, Pei revealed the expected price to be around £800, which comes to roughly $1,063 or ₹90,500. That’s a big jump from the Phone (2), which launched at ₹44,999 in India.

This time, Nothing is aiming straight for the premium segment. Carl teased “premium materials,” which could mean a titanium frame or high-end glass alongside “major performance upgrades.”

Rumours suggest it could run on either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or a top-tier MediaTek Dimensity chip like the Dimensity 9400 or 9400+.

Nothing Phone (3) – Rumours

There’s also talk of a customisable Action Button like Apple’s and a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. A Pro version might offer a larger 6.7-inch screen. On the software side, the Phone (3) is expected to run Nothing OS 3.0, based on Android 15 with deep AI integration. This could lead to a more personalised UI experience, possibly including a completely revamped home screen.

The Phone (3) will follow the launch of the mid-range Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro, which came out in March 2025. Now, with a clear focus on flagship features, high-end performance, and a significant price increase, the big question is whether the premium materials and AI-driven features can justify the higher cost.

The Phone (3) is set to launch sometime between July and September 2025, following the brand’s usual summer release cycle seen with the Phone (1) and Phone (2).

On the outside, there’s a 4-inch flexible AMOLED cover screen with 1,272 x 1,080 resolution, the same 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits brightness. Both displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic and support Dolby Vision.

Camera-wise, you get a 50MP main sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography and a 50MP front camera for selfies, which is a notable upgrade over the 32MP front sensor on the previous model.

The phone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery and supports 68W fast wired charging, 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. Other features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The camera setup also sees a change with a 50MP wide-angle lens instead of a telephoto one and a new 50MP front camera. However, there seems to be a discrepancy in the battery, the Razr 60 Ultra is said to have a 4,700mAh battery, which is actually higher than the 4,000mAh capacity listed for the Razr 50 Ultra.

GTA 6 Trailer 2 Hidden Details You Might Have Missed, Availability On PC Speculations

0

Highlights

  • GTA 6 Trailer 2 reveals stunning details including realistic muscle movement, dynamic environments and Easter eggs hinting at cinematic action sequences.
  • Liberty City references spark speculation as a truck with a Liberty City plate and Lucia’s backstory suggest the possibility of visiting the iconic location in-game.
  • PC release is likely delayed to 2027 or later, following Rockstar’s history of optimising its games for PC.

image

Caption – A still of GTA 6. (Image credit – Rockstar Games)

Rockstar Games has dropped the second trailer for GTA 6, and fans are buzzing. After nearly two years of silence, the trailer arrived just as Rockstar confirmed the game will launch on May 26, 2026. Yes, that’s a delay but the trailer more than made up for it with some seriously next-level visuals and details.

At almost three minutes long, the trailer is filled with blink-and-you-will-miss-it moments. Here are some standout details you might have missed –

  • The trailer opens with Jason saying, “Oh, just fixing some leaks.” It’s a clever Easter egg from Rockstar, poking fun at the real-life leaks that happened before the game was even announced.
  • Jason’s shirtless scenes reveal something new for GTA, realistic muscle movement. You can actually see muscles like his lats and pecs flex as he climbs a ladder or lifts weights at the beach. It’s a small touch, but it makes the characters feel more alive.
  • In one scene, Jason carries a crate of beer, and you can see the liquid inside the bottles sloshing around. In another, a still bottle shows tiny carbonation bubbles rising inside. It’s small stuff, but super detailed.
  • The trailer teases some massive heists. One standout moment shows a large safe hanging from a moving vehicle, which feels like a shoutout to Fast & Furious 5. It’s a big hint that GTA 6 might go all-in on cinematic action sequences.
  • Lucia is seen casually relaxing, and when she rests her knee on a couch, the cushion visibly sinks under her weight. This kind of interaction suggests that interiors in the game may be more dynamic and immersive than ever.
  • Eagle-eyed viewers noticed a truck with a Liberty City license plate during a chase scene. The cityscape in the background looks a lot like NYC too. Add to that the fact that Lucia’s backstory ties to Liberty City, and it could mean we’ll get to visit the iconic location again, even if just briefly.
  • In one scene, Jason and Lucia are seen near a glass case with a snake inside. It could just be a mission cutscene, but it’s got fans wondering if pets are finally coming to GTA, and not just dogs but snakes too. It’d be a first for the franchise.
  • It seems there are many sports minigames available across Vice City. The new selection of screenshots reveals Mini Golf, Pool, Fishing, Basket Ball, Kayaking, Dirt Bike Racing and Scuba Diving.

Speculations About the PC Release

While trailer 2 answered a lot of questions, one big one question still remains. When will GTA 6 release on PC?

When the first trailer dropped in December 2023, many assumed the PC version would come out about a year after the console release. But now that the console launch is confirmed for 2026, the PC version is definitely pushed back, likely into 2027 or later.

To get a rough idea, let’s look at Rockstar’s history –

  • GTA 4 launched on PS3/Xbox 360 in April 2008 and hit PC just 8 months later.
  • GTA 5, however, came to PC almost two years after its 2013 console debut.

The reason is mostly optimisation. Unlike consoles, which have fixed hardware, PCs come in all shapes and specs. That makes development more complex and time-consuming. Rockstar learned this the hard way with GTA 4, where the PC port was a technical mess, plagued by bugs and poor performance.

They didn’t repeat that mistake with GTA 5, which is still considered one of the most optimised PC games ever thanks in part to that long delay.

So, what does this mean for GTA 6 on PC? Realistically, don’t expect it before 2027. It could even be 2028, depending on how long Rockstar takes to polish it.

FAQS

Q1. What hidden details are in GTA 6 Trailer 2?

Answer. The trailer includes realistic muscle movement, dynamic environments, and small visual touches like carbonation bubbles in bottles, making the world feel more immersive.

Q2. Are there hints that Liberty City might be featured in GTA 6?

Answer. Yes, a truck with a Liberty City license plate appears in a chase scene, and Lucia’s backstory is linked to Liberty City, suggesting players might revisit the iconic location.

Q3. When will GTA 6 be released on PC?

Answer. The console launch is set for May 26, 2026, but based on Rockstar’s history, the PC version is likely delayed until 2027 or later to allow for optimisation.

It’s part of the flagship S25 series, but in an incredibly thin body that measures just 5.8mm. That’s about 30% thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it the slimmest Galaxy S phone ever.

Now, the battery is smaller than usual because of the thin design. You get just 3,900mAh, which is even less than the base Galaxy S25, which has a smaller screen. Charging is limited to 25W wired, which is slower than the 45W you get with the S25+ and Ultra.

There’s also wireless charging, and Samsung says you can get up to 55% charge in around 30 minutes with a compatible adapter (not included in the box).

Other than that, you get a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip (full 8-core version), along with 12GB of RAM and your choice of 256GB or 512GB storage.

In the camera department, there are three sensors in total i.e. a massive 200MP main sensor (same as the S25 Ultra), a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP front camera for selfies. However, it skips a telephoto lens.

The frame is made from titanium, the back uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the front is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The phone also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance.

One standout detail is that it weighs just 163 grams, making it 25% lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and only slightly heavier than the base Galaxy S25.

The software the phone comes with is Android 15 with One UI 7. You also get all the latest Galaxy AI features like Drawing Assist and Audio Eraser along with the usual AI tricks from Google.

Apple May Raise iPhone 17 Prices, But Won’t Reveal It’s Because of Tariffs: Report

0

Highlights

  • Apple may raise iPhone 17 prices but won’t officially attribute the increase to U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods.
  • Instead, Apple plans to highlight new features and design changes to justify the higher cost.
  • Tariffs are impacting Apple’s costs with CEO Tim Cook noting a potential $900 million impact this quarter.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series around September this year. While there were rumours of a shakeup in the launch timeline, that’s not happening just yet. However, what might change instead is the price. Yes, it looks like Apple could be gearing up to raise prices across the iPhone 17 lineup.

During the company’s recent earnings call, CEO Tim Cook said that the impact of tariffs could cost Apple about $900 million this quarter. But when asked if that means higher iPhone 17 prices, he chose not to comment.

Now, a new report from The Wall Street Journal says Apple is looking at a price increase for its next iPhone lineup, which means the upcoming iPhone 17 models. Interestingly, Apple reportedly doesn’t want to link the price hike to U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods, even though those tariffs are a major factor. Instead, the company seems to be counting on new features and design changes to make the higher prices seem worth it.

The report explains, “Apple is weighing price increases for its fall iPhone lineup, a step it is seeking to couple with new features and design changes, according to people familiar with the matter […] The people familiar with the supply chain said Apple would have trouble making up for China tariff costs solely by seeking further savings from its suppliers, meaning a hit to its profit margin was likely unless it could raise prices.”

On Apple not revealing the real reason behind the price hike, the report reads, “The company is determined to avoid any scenario in which it appears to attribute price increases to U.S. tariffs on goods from China, where most Apple devices are assembled, the people said.”

The 20% tariff on all Chinese goods introduced by the Trump administration is still in effect. This is separate from another set of tariffs that recently shot up to as high as 125% but were temporarily reduced to 10%. That said, smartphones were never included in those extra tariffs.

Apple, like many other companies, has been trying to move its manufacturing out of China to reduce its exposure to these tariffs. India is one of the next big bets for Apple’s production needs, but its infrastructure and tech capabilities aren’t yet ready to handle large-scale iPhone production. So for now, China will continue making the most of the high-end Pro and Pro Max models.

Meanwhile, Android Authority points out that if Apple raises iPhone 17 prices, Android phone makers might follow suit. With their own rising production costs and tariff challenges, Android brands could use Apple’s price move as an opportunity to bump up their own prices while staying competitive. This could lead to a general increase in smartphone prices overall, as most brands are unlikely to absorb all these extra costs themselves.

In short, if Apple raises prices, expect others to follow and that’s not great news for smartphone buyers.

FAQs

Q1. Will Apple raise iPhone 17 prices?

Answer. Apple is reportedly considering a price increase for the iPhone 17 series, but it does not want to link the hike to U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods. Instead, the company is expected to highlight new features and design changes to justify the higher cost.

Q2. How are U.S. tariffs affecting Apple costs?

Answer. The impact of tariffs could cost Apple about $900 million this quarter. Apple has struggled to offset these costs through supplier savings, making a price hike more likely. The company is also working to move its manufacturing out of China, but for now, China remains its primary production hub for high-end models.

Q3. Could other smartphone brands raise prices too with iPhone prices?

Answer. Yes. If Apple increases iPhone 17 prices, Android phone makers may follow suit. Rising production costs and tariff challenges could push them to adjust their own pricing, leading to an overall increase in smartphone prices.
