Nothing has started rolling out a new update for the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, packed with fresh features and improvements based on what users have been asking for in community feedback.
With this update, you can now shoot 4K videos using the telephoto and periscope cameras, so your videos will look sharper than ever. A new feature called Privacy Space has also been added. Just swipe right in the app drawer to jump into a secure area. Plus, you can now set a separate privacy password for both App Locker and Privacy Space.
There’s a new Hotspot Manager too, making it easier to keep track of devices connected to your phone’s hotspot. On the camera side, selfies are now clearer with better face details and more natural-looking colours. Night shots taken under streetlights will also look much better. You can now apply filters to your high-resolution 50MP photos, and the update improves brightness and reduces flicker when using the telephoto camera in low-light conditions.
The update also includes the April Android security patch, along with a bunch of bug fixes and overall stability improvements. The rollout is happening in phases, so if you don’t see it yet, it should hit your device soon.
On top of that, Nothing has launched the new Nothing X 3.0 app. It comes with a fresh UI design for a more immersive experience and adds support for the new CMF Buds 2. You can get it through an update on the Google Play Store.
The rollout is gradual, so keep an eye out, the update should be available for everyone in the coming days. You can also check out the full changelog below –
