He claims the new placement will make the antenna less prone to signal shielding and interference, which makes sense given that people usually hold their iPhones from the bottom rather than over the camera area.

Another reason for the change is to improve how the antenna’s electromagnetic energy is distributed. In current designs, a user’s grip and nearby metal components can distort the radiation pattern, reducing coverage. As of now, iPhones house antennas along the chassis edges with small breaks in the frame to let signals pass through.

For certain queries such as those related to shopping, travel, or local activities, the carousel displays a row of relevant videos paired with brief AI-generated topic descriptions.

For example, if you are searching for “Best Restaurants in Tokyo”, the results could show a curated list of videos with quick summaries. This would allow viewers to jump straight to relevant content without browsing the entire results page.

As of now, the experimental feature is exclusive to the YouTube mobile app, supports only English-language videos, and doesn’t appear for all searches. Premium users interested in trying it can opt in via this page. Apple’s long-awaited Siri overhaul and new App Intents feature designed to let Siri perform actions inside apps. Now, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is now targeting a spring 2026 release. Initially set for launch during the iOS 18 cycle, both features faced engineering setbacks and are now expected to arrive with around iOS 26.4.

The updated Siri is meant to go beyond basic responses, enabling real actions in apps through App Intents. However, Gurman notes internal concerns remain, especially around ensuring the system works with enough apps and is reliable in sensitive areas like health and banking.

Gurman writes, “The plan now is to ship the feature alongside a broader Siri infrastructure overhaul in the spring and market it heavily. But there’s some concern inside the company, I’m told. Engineers have been struggling to ensure that the system works with a sufficient number of apps and is accurate enough to handle high-stakes scenarios. There are worries about the software failing in categories where precision is nonnegotiable, like in health or banking apps.”

Apple is working with select companies to test the system ahead of launch, and App Intents won’t be universally available at first. The company is even considering “sharply limiting what Siri can do — or excluding those areas altogether” for sensitive categories. Developers will get a short preparation window via Apple’s beta program.

Current developer documentation states, “Siri’s personal context understanding, onscreen awareness, and in-app actions are in development and will be available with a future software update.”

Apple’s much-anticipated MacBook Pro redesigned with an OLED display was previously r umoured for late 2026. However, now we are hearing it might not arrive until early 2027. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, the overhaul will still include a thinner design, an M6 chip and an OLED screen, but its launch could be later than expected.

Explaining the same in the report, Gurman writes, “It means I need to see something entirely new if I’m going to get excited about upgrading. And that’s where the revamped MacBook Pro with an OLED screen comes into play. It’s arriving between the end of 2026 and early 2027 and should boast the M6 chip. That Mac represents enough of a change to finally move the needle.”

The earlier roadmap suggested a minor MacBook Pro refresh with the M5 chip at the end of 2025, followed by a full redesign with the M6 chip and OLED in 2026. However, with the M5 MacBook Pro now delayed to spring 2026, the M6 OLED version might also shift, potentially to early 2027.

Last month, Gurman noted that Apple was considering pushing the M5 MacBook Pro release to 2026, which could explain why the OLED M6 models may also be postponed.

There is precedent for multiple MacBook Pro updates within the same year. Apple launched M2 Pro and M2 Max models in January 2023, then followed with M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max models in October 2023. If Apple follows that pattern, the M5 lineup could debut in January 2026 with M6 models arriving in October 2026.

In any case, if you can wait, it may be worth skipping the M5 generation altogether. It is no surprise that Huawei often releases a premium RS variant alongside the standard and Pro models of its flagship devices. Following the same strategy, the Huawei Mate 80 RS is most likely on its way as a sub-variant of the upcoming flagship lineup. If there was any uncertainty about that, a new leak has released some key details about the phone almost confirming the model. Here’s what we know so far.

According to DCS’s post, the Mate 80 RS is tipped to feature a 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED display, the same advanced screen technology first introduced on last year’s Mate 70 RS. Dual-layer OLED stacks two light-emitting layers, delivering higher brightness, lower power consumption, and improved longevity compared to conventional single-layer OLED panels.

However, the technology is costly to produce, with even Apple reportedly exploring it for future iPhones.

Premium materials will be another highlight. The engineering prototype is said to use a titanium alloy middle frame, building on last year’s high-gloss titanium basalt design for enhanced durability. On the back, Huawei is reportedly opting for a ceramic texture finish, a special type of glass that mimics the smooth, jade-like feel of ceramic while being lighter.

Hardware-wise, the Mate 80 RS is expected to share much of its DNA with the Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 Pro+, including a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, similar in size to the one on Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro.
