iQOO Compact Tablet – What We Know So Far?
According to the leak, iQOO’s new tablet is being designed for high-performance gaming and will feature an 8.35-inch custom LCD display. The screen is said to support 3K+ resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate, which should make it a great option for smooth, fast-paced gameplay.
The device is reportedly based on an N-1 platform, which suggests it’s being built around a previous-generation chipset, but is still capable of delivering top-tier performance.
Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu at the beginning of last month claimed that the brand is working on a compact tablet to be launched in the second half of the year. If this is true, it seems unlikely that the device will use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or Dimensity 9500 chipsets, which are scheduled to debut in September.

Instead, the prototype is said to be testing either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Dimensity 9400+, both powerful processors that hint at flagship-level performance. iQOO is aiming to position this tablet as a lightweight gaming powerhouse, although the final hardware is still being worked out.
Entry Into Gaming Tablet Segment
Reports also suggest that this device is expected to compete with other compact gaming tablets in China. These include some of the famous names like Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4), Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro and the upcoming Redmi K Pad.
Notably, the Redmi K Pad also uses the Dimensity 9400+, while Lenovo and Red Magic use the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Meanwhile, iQOO is also rumoured to launch the iQOO 15 and 15 Pro in September or October. As of now, no reports confirm if the gaming tablet will be unveiled alongside those phones or make its debut earlier.
