Jio Phone 5G has just received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certificate, implying that it will soon be launched in the country, although Reliance Jio has commented very little on the matter.

Jio Phone 5G Gets Bureau of Indian Standards Certificate

Reliance Jio has a lot riding up its sleeve as it has undertaken the task of launching 5G services throughout India, along with Bharti Airtel, due to which the two telecom companies need to work extremely hard to work things out in a proper manner.

The company will soon be launching two new smartphone models viz. Jio Phone 5G and a new Jio Phone 4G, where the former was spotted on many online forums and websites where the Geekbench certification revealed the essential details of the model.

With the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifying it, it is apparent that Jio Phone 5G will be launched soon in India, although the official details are unconfirmed as of now, but we can expect Reliance to come out with news soon.

Jio Phone 5G Specifications

To begin with, the model number of Jio Phone 5G is LS1654QB5, which was spotted on websites like Geekbench earlier with a Snapdragon 400-series chipset, which has two cores clocked at 2.21GHz, while the remaining six cores are clocked at 1.90GHz.

It is expected to come with a 6.5-inch LCD Display screen and HD+ resolution, along with a 90Hz refresh rate, although the types of display hasn’t been revealed as yet but the expectations are that it will be a basic notch panel or a screen of bezels.

The remaining features might include a dual camera setup with a 13MP main lens, while the battery capacity is speculated to be 5,000mAh units that may come with a fast charging support.
