Itel has unveiled its latest budget smartphone named Itel A100C. It is a device that bears a noticeable resemblance to the upcoming OnePlus 15, particularly in its edge design and camera housing. However, despite the similarities, the A100C caters to an entirely different audience.
The new Itel phone is for budget-conscious users looking for reliable performance, a long-lasting battery and practical everyday features at an affordable price point.
The Itel A100C features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720×1612 resolution. The 8-bit screen offers 400 nits of typical brightness and a 90% screen-to-body ratio, ensuring smooth visuals and a fairly immersive viewing experience for its class.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM (4GB physical + 8GB virtual RAM expansion) and 128GB of internal storage.
The device runs on Android 15 (Go edition), layered with itel OS 15 for a lightweight and optimised experience.
The A100C packs a 5000mAh battery, which Itel claims can deliver up to 32 days of standby time, 27.7 hours of talk time, or 8.5 hours of gaming, depending on usage. It also supports USB Type-C charging for added convenience.
One of the standout features of the Itel A100C is its military-grade durability, certified under MIL-STD-810H standards. The phone has been tested to withstand high temperatures, humidity, and drops from up to 1.22 meters, making it a rugged companion for daily use.
The smartphone introduces UltraLink, a unique feature that enables Bluetooth-based calls and messaging even without Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity. Additional highlights include infrared remote control support, DTS-tuned audio for enhanced sound quality, and both side fingerprint and face unlock for secure and convenient access.
In terms of cameras, the Itel A100C houses an 8MP rear sensor and a 5MP front camera, suitable for basic photography and video calls.

The phone sports a slim 8.49mm profile and will be available in four colour options, which are Pure Black, Titanium Gold, Blaze Blue, and Silk Green.
