iQOO has officially launched the iQOO Z11 in China, positioning it as a mid-to-high-end smartphone. The device brings several hardware upgrades including a massive battery and MediaTek’s latest chipset. It also features a “floating porthole” camera module with large rounded corners and a symmetrical design language. Here’s everything you need to know about the new phone.
The iQOO Z11 is already available for purchase in China with the following pricing –
The company is also offering discounts of up to 300 yuan for a limited period in the Chinese market.
It is available in three colour options, which includes Floating Light colour that uses nano-level photolithography to create a dynamic light-shifting effect on the rear panel. The other two colours are Sky White and Midnight Black.
The smartphone sports a 6.83-inch straight OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. It is the first iQOO device to offer a 165Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 2000 nits of peak global brightness, improving outdoor visibility. It also offers a 95% first-frame brightness ratio to minimise ghosting and includes an optimised touch system to reduce latency during taps and swipes.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, built on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process. It features an all-big-core architecture with new Cortex-A725 cores.
The phone is backed by iQOO’s “Monster Over-Core Engine,” which includes a “Prophet Scheduler” to manage background processes and a “Lightning Accelerator” to stabilise frame rates during gaming. It also uses a 7K Ice Dome VC liquid cooling system. According to the brand, the device achieves an overall performance score of over 2.62 million.
One of the biggest highlights of the iQOO Z11 is its 9,020mAh “Blue Ocean” battery, the largest ever on an iQOO smartphone. Despite its size, the device maintains a relatively slim profile thanks to a fourth-generation silicon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state battery technology.
With the Blue Ocean Battery Life System, iQOO claims the device can deliver over 10 hours of continuous mixed usage while still retaining more than 50% battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging and also offers reverse charging to power other devices.
For photography, the iQOO Z11 features a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It also includes proprietary portrait algorithms designed to preserve clarity and texture across different focal lengths. The camera system is enhanced with Vivo’s latest film filter including negative, positive, and clear blue tones.
The device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring high resistance to dust and water. It has also passed seven military-grade durability tests, making it suitable for rugged usage conditions.
