The iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G is launching soon in India. Rumors suggest that the iQOO phone with model number I2217, which was previously rumored to have the iQOO Neo 7T 5G marketing name, could be the upcoming Neo 7 Pro. The I2217 device has now appeared on Geekbench 6 to reveal some of its key specifications.
On Geekbench 6, the purported iQOO Neo 7 Pro has appeared with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Although the name of the SoC is not mentioned directly in the listing, the CPU and GPU details that have emerged reveal that it is powered by the said chipset.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the purported iQOO Neo 7 Pro will arrive with 8 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS with FunTouch OS 13 overlaid. It scored 1572 and 4000 in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.
iQOO has introduced two smartphones in China over the past few months, namely the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. It is possible that the Neo 7 Pro is a rebranded variant of either of these two devices. The device is expected to go official by the end of June in India.
Rumors are rife that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro for India will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, and 256 GB of storage. The Neo 7 Pro is likely to be priced between Rs 30,000 ($363) and Rs 35,000 ($423) in India.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro Moniker Confirmed Ahead of Launch
As per the information shared by industry sources with Pricebaba, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be introduced in the Indian market. The sources have informed that the launch event of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will take place by the end of June.
Additionally, sources have shared the leaked poster image which confirms the moniker as the iQOO Neo 7 Pro. Apart from the moniker information and the launch timeline no other details of the device are revealed yet.
As per the rumours, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be arriving with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The handset might feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The handset might feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS support. The front of the device might include a 16MP selfie camera.
Furthermore, the handset is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Do note that these are the rumoured specifications of the device, and the actual specifications may vary.
To recall, a recent report by the folks at The Tech Outlook had revealed that iQOO will launch the iQOO Neo 7T smartphone in India.
The report also revealed that the Neo 7T will feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 50MP camera with OIS support, 120W fast charging, and a 5,000mAh battery.
These specifications does match with the rumoured specifications of iQOO Neo 7 Pro. It could be possible that the iQOO Neo 7T will debut in India with the iQOO Neo 7 Pro moniker.
iQOO Neo 7 Pro Geekbench listing
Geekbench is a benchmarking platform that can score your device’s single-core and multi-core computing skills.
A Vivo smartphone with the model number I2217 has been listed on the website which is speculated to be the iQOO Neo 7 Pro. For those unaware, iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo.
Here, the smartphone has scored 1,112 in Geekbench’s single-core and 3,578 in multi-core tests.
The chipset in this Geekbench listing is a Qualcomm Snapdragon with the codename ‘taro’.
The chipset boasts a maximum clock speed of 3.0GHz and is equipped with three extra performance cores that are fixed at 2.5GHz.
In addition, it is equipped with four low-power cores that operate at a clock speed of 1.8GHz.
It is probable that the phone is equipped with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or a down-clocked variant of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, based on the provided information.
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will pack 8GB of RAM and was spotted running Android 13 out of the box.
