iQOO Neo 7 5G India launch event will be hosted next week in India. The Neo 7 5G will debut as a rebadged version of the Neo 7 SE 5G from China.
IQoo Neo 7 5G is scheduled to launch in India on February 16th and since the phone had already launched in China, we know how it looks and what are the specifications. Before the launch the iQOO Neo 7 price, specifications, colour options, and RAM/storage options details have been leaked, courtesy of tipster Paras Guglani.
The handset will arrive as a premium mid-range offering and the Indian variant is said to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200.
According to Paras, the iQOO Neo 7 will be available in Interstellar Black and Frost Blue colour options. The handset should be available via Amazon online much like other iQOO products.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G will launch as a successor to the Neo 6 5G. The phone is likely to receive a slightly price bump compared to its predecessor.
The Neo 7 5G is expected to launch in two storage options. The iQOO Neo 7 price in India is tipped to be Rs 34,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. This is an increment of Rs 1,000 over the 12GB RAM variant of the Neo 6 5G, which was launched for Rs 33,999. The company will be having a launch offer of Rs 4,000 cashback (bank and exchange bonus), which brings down the price to Rs 30,999.
The sale is said to start on February 19th or 20th. Effectively, the device will be available for Rs 30,999. The tipster did not reveal the pricing details of the 8GB RAM variant of the Neo 7 5G.
The phone will launch in Interstellar Black and Frost Blue colours.
iQOO Neo 7 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 2000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 1.07 billion colours, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and up to 1500nits brightness.
The phone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 with ARM Mali-G610 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Neo 7 managed a combined score of 862,438 points on AnTuTu with 206,755 points on the CPU test, 338,400 on the GPU testand 153,055 on the memory department.
The iQOO Neo 7 will be the first phone to launch in India with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200.
We also get a comparison to Dimensity 8100 SoC (710,269 combined points) and the Snapdragon 870-powered IQOO Neo 6 (728,976-points) on AnTuTu.
In addition, we also get a look at the iQOO Neo 7’s throttling performance via way of the CPU Throttling test where the Dimensity 8200’s CPU throttled to 86% of its Max performance. iQOO Neo 7’s performance on the 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme Stress test where the Dimensity 8200 got a best loop score of 1,793 and a 99.4% stability score.
Running the show is the Android 13-based OriginOS custom skin.
The phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers, and USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
The iQOO Neo 7 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The iQOO Neo 7 has triple cameras on the back, comprising a 64MP camera with OIS, LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
