iQOO 15 first look was out just a few days ago and now we are getting official updates and teasers about its arrival in India. The upcoming iQOO numbered series India launch has just been confirmed and the smartphone has now been spotted on two major certification databases. Here’s what we know so far.

iQOO 15 has appeared on SIRIM in Malaysia and the EEC in Europe. The listing confirms that the device has cleared essential pre-launch regulatory approvals, indicating that its official announcement is imminent.
According to the listings, the iQOO 15 carries the model number I2501. This aligns with earlier confirmations from the brand regarding some of its key specifications.
Globally, the device has already appeared across multiple platforms including Geekbench and Nemko, further validating its readiness for launch.
The company recently revealed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will feature wireless charging, USB 3.2 support, and IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
The upcoming iQOO flagship will sport a 6.85-inch QHD Samsung display offering a 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2,600-nit peak brightness. It will also feature an upgraded ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for improved speed and accuracy.
iQOO has already teased several high-end features for the Chinese variant of the iQOO 15 including Android 16-based OriginOS 6, a 2K Samsung Everest panel with 8T LTPO technology, 3,200Hz instant touch sampling rate, and a 7-cell Blue Ocean battery. The phone will also support Global Direct Power 2.0, wireless charging, and come with a colour-changing back design, along with IP68 + IP69 certification for superior water resistance.

While iQOO India has officially confirmed that the iQOO 15 is coming soon in an X post, the brand hasn’t shared the exact launch date yet.
However, tipster @heyitsyogesh suggested in a recent post that the smartphone is expected to launch in India in November 2025.
Reports from China suggest that the iQOO 15 could debut in the company’s home market on October 15, followed by its rollout in other regions, including India. If this timeline holds true, official launch invites are likely to go out very soon.
