iQOO has officially announced that the iQOO 15 will debut in China on October 20 at 7:00 PM local time in Shenzhen.

The company confirmed via its official Weibo account that its next-generation flagship will go on sale immediately after the launch. This launch is currently specific to China with the global release date yet to be revealed.

iQOO 15 – Key Features (Revealed)

The iQOO 15 succeeds last year’s iQOO 13 and is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The phone will reportedly be available in four colour options, including one with a dual-pattern design.

While iQOO has kept most details under wraps, leaks from sources such as tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo suggest the device will feature a 6.85-inch Samsung display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The leakster also reveals that the rear camera setup is said to include a triple camera array, which includes 50MP 1/1.5″ IMX9 series main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 50MP IMX8 series 3x periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x zoom. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, alongside wireless charging support, a first for the iQOO flagship line.

The phone will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and comes with a waterproof body boasting IP68 + IP69 ratings. IP68 ensures dust-proofing and protection against continuous submersion in water, while IP69 safeguards the device against high-temperature, high-pressure water jets. The next-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is designed for faster, secure unlocking, even with wet fingers.
