iQOO has announced that its upcoming flagship model, the iQOO 12, will be equipped with the latest Funtouch OS based on Android 14.
This makes the iQOO 12 the first non-Pixel smartphone to offer Android 14 out of the box.
The device will be launching in the Indian markets on 12 December.
Funtouch OS 14 focuses on several critical areas:
The iQOO 12 5G, recently launched in China, offers three variants: the 12GB + 256GB model priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000), the 16GB + 512GB variant at CNY 4,299 (around Rs. 50,000), and the high-end 16GB RAM + 1TB option at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 53,000).
Available in distinct color options including Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version – the latter featuring a BMW Motorsport-inspired finish – the phone’s Indian pricing remains undisclosed but is expected to mirror the specifications of the Chinese models.
The handset boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (1,260×2,800 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio, along with HDR10+ support.
It runs on a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno 750 GPU.
The iQOO 12 5G’s camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto shooter with 100X digital zoom, and a 50MP ultra wide-angle lens.
A 16MP front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint sensor are among its features.
