Apple’s next big iPhone lineup is already making waves ahead of its expected launch in September 2025. Leaks suggest that the iPhone 17 series will include four models, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. This time, Apple is dropping the “Plus” model due to low demand and introducing a brand-new variant called the iPhone 17 Air.

iPhone 17 Series – Design and Colour Details

The iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever with a slim 5.5mm profile. It’ll likely feature a 6.6-inch display, making it slightly larger than the iPhone 17’s 6.3-inch screen but smaller than the Pro Max’s 6.9-inch display.

As for the Pro and Pro Max models, Apple could be changing things up with a new horizontal camera bar on the back and a mix of aluminium and glass for the design.

Standard iPhone 17 and 17 Air models might come in familiar shades like Ultramarine, Teal, Black, Pink, and White. The Pro models could arrive in more premium tones such as Black, Silver, White and a possible new Sky Blue option.

iPhone 17 Series – Key Specifications

All four iPhone 17 models are expected to feature OLED displays with higher brightness. Apple might finally bring 120Hz ProMotion to all models, not just the Pro versions.

The iPhone 17 and 17 Air are tipped to run on the A19 chip, while the Pro and Pro Max could be powered by the A19 Pro.

RAM is expected to start at 8GB and go up to 12GB on the higher-end models.

The entire lineup may come with a 24MP front camera. On the back, the iPhone 17 Air will likely have a single 48MP sensor, while the standard iPhone 17 could feature a dual setup (48MP + 12MP). The Pro and Pro Max are expected to include three 48MP cameras, including a Tetraprism telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 7x lossless zoom and advanced video options like 8K recording and dual-video capture.

iPhone 17 Series – Expected Prices

In India, the iPhone 17 might start at ₹89,900, the Air at ₹99,900, the Pro at ₹1,39,900, and the Pro Max at ₹1,64,900. In the US, the base model could be priced around $899, while in Dubai, it may start at around AED 3,799.
