Users will be able to see Tag items from here, where they may touch the product in their content and then search for that brand’s product to add a tag, according to reports. The product tags in the post will be visible to other users, who can tap them to make a purchase.
Users do not stand to gain anything from product-tagging at the moment. According to Meta spokeswoman Anne Yeh, the platform is now developing an affiliate programme with a restricted group of producers that will allow them to earn a commission on tagged items.
