At 12 PM on the launch day, Infinix will unveil the pricing and detailed specifications via a press release.
According to the teasers, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Infinix Smart 8 is expected to be priced starting at least at Rs 6,000.
Infinix Smart 8 is set to offer a range of features that cater to the budget smartphone segment.
A notable inclusion is the virtual RAM expansion support of up to 4GB, enhancing the device’s multitasking capabilities.
The smartphone boasts a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, promising a smooth visual experience.
Photography features include a 50MP primary camera paired with an AI camera, with an LED flash to aid in low-light photography.
The device also offers a dedicated portrait mode and supports AR photography.
The Infinix Smart 8 will feature an 8MP selfie camera accompanied by a flashlight.
The device will be available in four colours: Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White.
It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a first in its segment, along with conveniently placed power and volume buttons.
The global variant of Infinix Smart 8 includes a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
Powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, it offers 3GB/4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB.
The device runs on Android 13 Go Edition.
For photography, it houses a 13MP primary camera with an f/1.85 aperture and an AI lens, complemented by a Ring LED flash.
The front camera is an 8MP snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
Battery-wise, it’s equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging and reverse charging support.
Measuring 163.60 x 75.60 x 8.5 mm and weighing 184 grams, it also features Face unlock, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type C 2.0 connectivity.
