Infinix is reportedly preparing to bring its latest Note series device, the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G, to the Indian market. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch, recent leaks suggest that the smartphone could debut in India on April 17. The smartphone has been out in the global market since last month and if Infinix gets the pricing right, it could be one of the most exciting new 5G devices in India. Here is what we know so far.
The reported launch date of April 17 has surfaced via a teaser spotted by PassionateGeekz on the URL hybrid.in.ilovexclub.com. Although the teaser does not explicitly confirm the launch, it mentions a promotional giveaway tied to the same date. This has led to speculation that April 17 could mark the official India debut of the device.

If the launch is indeed scheduled for this month, the company is expected to start teasing the smartphone officially in the coming days.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G has already been introduced globally, which means we have an idea of its full set of specifications.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels. It uses an LTPS AMOLED panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2800Hz instant touch sampling rate, and 2304Hz PWM dimming. The display can reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits. Additionally, the smartphone features an in-display fingerprint sensor and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

The device is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor, clocked between 1.8GHz and 2.7GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with an Adreno A810 GPU. Globally, the smartphone is available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. It also supports Extended RAM technology, allowing virtual RAM expansion and offering up to 24GB total RAM (12GB + 12GB). The device uses LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 2.2 storage and similar configurations are expected for the Indian market.
For photography, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.59 aperture, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture. An LED flash is also present. On the front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G packs a large 6500mAh battery. It supports 90W fast charging for quick power top-ups along with 30W wireless charging. The device also includes reverse charging capabilities, supporting 7.5W wired reverse charging and 5W wireless reverse charging.
According to tipster reports, the Infinix Note 60 Pro could be priced under Rs 30,000 in India. If this pricing holds true, the smartphone will compete in a highly competitive segment while offering strong specifications to stand out.
Based on the specifications of the global variant we can assume that the Indian version of Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G will offer a premium experience in the mid-range category. The display with high refresh rate and impressive brightness levels makes it suitable not only for everyday tasks but also for gaming and multimedia consumption.
The 6500mAh battery with wireless charging support gives it an edge, as this feature is usually limited to flagship smartphones. In terms of cameras, the setup suggests that the phone is geared more towards casual photography rather than professional use.
In any case, the combination of display quality, performance, battery reliability and the addition of a secondary display could help it stand out. So, for users planning to buy a mid-range smartphone it may be worth waiting for the Infinix Note 60 Pro.
