A trustworthy source has provided the internet with images of what is likely to be the upcoming Infinix GT 20 Pro.
This new budget gaming phone is the direct successor to last year’s GT 10 Pro model and from the leaked images, or should be say sketches, not much seems to have changed in terms of the design style.
You can see the back design looks quite similar, featuring a triple camera setup and LED flash array housed within a pentagon-shaped camera bump.
There will be a certain gamer-y aspect to the device without doubt, but it isn’t immediately clear what that could look like.
The phone is definitely coming soon and the GT 20 Pro’s existence has been confirmed through multiple sightings on certification platforms like Geekbench, TUV, EEC, WiFi Alliance, and even the FCC (indicating a potential US launch) earlier this month.
For Indian fans, the phone has also made its way across the BIS certification website.
There have been leaks as well suggesting it’ll have a dual-chip setup – one handling the high 120Hz refresh rate display for gaming, while the other focuses on energy efficiency.
Under the hood, we’re expecting a Dimensity 8200 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM.
The vapour chamber cooling system should allow stable performance under load.
Other rumoured specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
No official announcement yet, but if it follows last year’s timeline, the Infinix GT 20 Pro may debut soon, perhaps around August.
As a quick recap, the previous GT 10 Pro model offered a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8050 chip, 8GB RAM with 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB storage, 108MP triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, and 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging.
