huawei p60 series
Huawei has been recovering from the pandemic faster than even industry experts expected. With an estimated 8.6 million units of shipment in the third quarter of 2022, the Chinese telecommunication equipment company has registered an increase of 48.3% year-on-year. The brand is supposed to return to the market with its Huawei Mate 50 series and if some media reports are to be believed, the Huawei P60 series in 2023.
The Huawei P60 series comeback, as per certain reports, has already been finalised for an early 2023 launch with proper launch preparations and marketing plans in place. Reports also suggest that the Huawei P60 series comeback will also mark the launch of Harmony OS 3.1.
The reports of the Huawei HarmonyOS 3.1 launch have been doing rounds in online communities for quite some now. It was first announced during the Huawei Developer Conference 2022.
However, after the initial announcement, only the developer beta version was launched last year. Huawei has, however, stated that the proper public launch will be scheduled for early 2023 with some tech bloggers online suggesting a January 2023 launch.
There have also been certain image leaks recently that suggest some noticeable design changes in the new generation smartphones. A leaked image of the protective case design for Huawei’s P60 series in the last week of December 2022 suggests a very unique three-camera layout.
It appears Huawei phones are going with different camera sensor placements as compared to the previous generation design such as the Huawei P50 series.
Referring to the leaked images of the protective case, many tech bloggers pointed out that the new design will have a significant positive impact on the camera capacity.
With the code name “Mona Lisa,” the Huawei P60 series is rumoured to sport a flagship processor, main camera upgrades to a 64MP sensor, and Huawei’s own XMAGE image among other features.
The main camera has also been anticipated to be one of the most surprising features of the Huawei P60 series with some exciting details for an enhanced smartphone photography experience. It is being speculated that the smartphones will not support 5G connectivity, although users can hope to get satellite communication.
