It comes in four storage configurations –
The Huawei Mate 70 Air directly competes with the Apple iPhone Air, though it offers a more well-rounded package in several areas. Measuring 6.6mm in thickness, it’s slightly thicker than the iPhone Air’s 5.6mm body, but Huawei compensates with a larger battery and a more versatile camera setup.
The phone features a 7-inch 1.5K+ OLED display with a resolution of 2760 × 1320 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an 18.8:9 aspect ratio. It includes a 10.7MP front camera housed within a centred punch-hole cutout.

Huawei provides two processor configurations based on RAM options. This includes the Kirin 9020B powers the 12GB RAM variants, while the Kirin 9020A is reserved for the 16GB RAM models. On the software front, the device runs HarmonyOS 5.1, Huawei’s in-house operating system.
The 6,500mAh battery is one of the biggest highlights of the Mate 70 Air, supporting 66W wired fast charging through a USB 2.0 port. The smartphone also includes Wi-Fi 7+, two-way Beidou satellite messaging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Despite its slim build, Huawei has managed to offer IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, a rare feature in ultra-thin smartphones.
