Honor has just launched three new products in China, the Honor X70 smartphone, Honor Pad GT2 Pro tablet and Honor Earbuds A Pro. Here’s what we know about all new launches.
The new Honor X70 is a budget smartphone with serious power and ruggedness. It features a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6000 nits. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
What really stands out is its massive 8300mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering six years of durability. It’s only the second phone ever to cross the 8000mAh mark, following Honor’s own Power series. Despite the huge battery, the phone weighs under 200 grams and stays under 8mm thick.
It supports 80W wired charging and even 80W wireless superfast charging, but only on the 512GB variant, making it a first in its segment.
The Honor X70 is also tough as nails. It’s the first phone to feature IP69K certification, meaning it can survive high-pressure water jets and even boiling water. It also comes with AI rainstorm touch and AI glove touch, so it remains usable in tough conditions.
To top it off, it has SGS five-star durability certification, a new bulletproof vest-style frame, aerospace-grade cushioning material and drop resistance up to 2.5 meters.

The Honor Pad GT2 Pro builds on its predecessor with several upgrades. It now offers a smoother 165Hz refresh rate on a “3K” display (likely 3000 x 1920px), designed to run games like CrossFire: Gunfight King at 165fps.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (non-‘s’ variant), it delivers significant performance gains. It comes with options for 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB RAM and 128GB to 512GB of storage. The tablet is cooled using advanced graphene layers for better heat management.
It houses a 10,100mAh battery, though the fast charging specs haven’t been revealed yet. The tablet is 5.8mm thick and weighs 580g, slightly heavier than the previous model.
For entertainment, the GT2 Pro includes 8 IMAX Enhanced speakers and a haptic feedback engine for an immersive audio experience.

The Honor Earbuds A Pro offer 49dB active noise cancellation, which is stronger than what most budget TWS earbuds offer. They also use AI-powered noise reduction to filter background sound during calls.
Each earbud includes a 12.4mm dynamic driver, tuned for what Honor describes as “surging sound” and “pure original audio.” Surprisingly, they also support spatial audio, although it’s unclear whether it’s hardware-based or software-driven.
Battery life is a big highlight, 9 hours on a single charge, and up to 42 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute charge gives 3 hours of playback.
Each earbud weighs 5.3g, and the case adds another 37.2g. Other features include IP54 dust and water resistance, tap controls, and support for Honor’s software to help find lost earbuds.
They use Bluetooth 5.3, and users with Honor phones get fast pairing with a pop-up window and cloud-synced pairing records for easy switching.
