Honor has extended its smartphone portfolio with the Honor X6b, which is aimed to find a balance between performance, display quality, and battery life.
If you’re looking for a smartphone that can handle both multimedia and daily tasks, the Honor X6b may be a good alternative.
While official pricing and availability details have not been announced yet, the Honor X6b is expected to be a budget-friendly offering within the company’s X-series lineup.
It will be available in four color options: Forest Green, Starry Purple, Ocean Cyan, and Midnight Black.
The Honor X6b features a 6.56-inch TFT LCD display with rounded corners.
It supports intuitive gestures and offers a 20.15:09 aspect ratio with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels (effective 1280 x 2800 pixels).
The display can reproduce 16.7 million colors, ensuring a vibrant and detailed visual experience.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, combining two Cortex-A75 cores (up to 2.0 GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (up to 1.8 GHz).
It is accompanied by an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, providing capable processing power for daily tasks and multimedia applications.
The Honor X6b runs on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14.
This operating system offers a modern and fluid interface with comprehensive customization options, seamless transitions, and an intuitive layout to enhance the overall smartphone experience.
For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
It supports 10X digital zoom, video recording at 720p and 1080p at 30fps, and various capture modes.
The front camera offers a 5MP resolution with an f/2.2 aperture, supporting video recording at 1080p and modes like Portrait and Mirror reflection.
