It was previously reported that Honor is gearing up to unveil its new X60 series on October 16.
The upcoming X60 series smartphones are expected to offer better upgrades compared to the Honor X60i launched earlier in July.
Recently Honor teased some new promotional material on Weibo and revealed some new details about the series.
As per the released promotional material, one of the standout features will be the introduction of the Honor Qinghai Lake battery.
This will be a massive 6,600mAh battery capacity that promises up to two days of battery life
It is a massive upgrade from Honor in the battery department if we compare this with the previous generation Honor X50 lineup.
The previous Honor X50, X50 GT and X50 Pro featured 5,800mAh battery capacities with 35W charging.
Honor has yet to confirm the charging speed for the X60 series.
Meanwhile, the hands-on images were also leaked this week.
The images shared on Weibo by a blogger suggest that the standard Honor X60 will retain a 5,800mAh battery with 35W charging.
This will be in line with its predecessor. It also hints that the larger 6,600mAh battery could be exclusive to the X60 Pro model only.
Honor has also confirmed other exciting features for the X60 series including satellite communication support and displays with 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Both these features will enhance the overall viewing experience.
Apart from the X60 Series phones, Honor may also unveil more devices during the launch event. As per reports, a new 12.3-inch tablet and the Honor Tablet GT Pro have been spotted in official listings already.
We are expecting Honor to release more teasers before the official launch.
