Honor is gearing up for a major reveal at IFA 2024 in September.
The Chinese consumer electronics company will showcase three highly anticipated devices in the global market.
These include the Honor Magic V3, the Honor MagicPad 2, and the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2024.
This comes after delays in bringing the Honor Magic V2 to Europe.
While Magic V2 was launched in July 2023, it arrived in Europe only in January 2024.
The current trend suggests Honor is now aiming for a quicker rollout with the Magic V3, set to debut at the event on September 5.
Here’s a quick glance at what to expect from this global launch.
The Honor Magic V3 is set to make waves in the foldable phone market with its ultra-slim design, measuring just 9.2mm thick when folded and weighing 226g.
This makes it one of the slimmest foldable phones on the market.
With this, Honor will rival even standard smartphones like the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max in terms of size and weight.
Despite its sleek profile, the Magic V3 is expected to pack powerful hardware, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 5,150mAh battery, and an impressive camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 3.5x periscope lens, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens.
The Magic V3 will also feature an IPX8 dust and water-resistant rating, making it as durable as other high-end foldable phones like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
However, its premium features suggest that it may come with a steep price tag, likely following the pricing trend set by the Honor Magic V2, which was priced at £1,700/€2,000.
Alongside the Magic V3, Honor will also introduce the MagicPad 2.
This tablet with a 12.3-inch 144Hz OLED display comes with IMAX Enhanced certification.
It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and boasts eight speakers and a 10,050mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The MagicPad 2 will also feature several AI technologies, including AI voiceprint noise reduction, AI voice-to-text, and AI meeting minutes, making it a standout device for productivity and entertainment.
The Honor MagicBook Art 14 2024 rounds out the lineup with its slim and lightweight design.
It measures 12.95mm thick and weighs just 1.03kg.
It will feature a 14.6-inch OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a unique detachable webcam module.
Users can choose between an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H processor, with Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
This makes it a versatile option for both work and play.
For wired connectivity, users will most likely get Thunderbolt 4, a full-function USB-C port, USB-A 3.2, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Honor has not yet disclosed the global pricing for these products, but the company has launched a teaser page where users can participate in a questionnaire for a chance to win an Honor Magic V3.
