Honor’s upcoming Robot Phone was first showcased at MWC 2026 and it now appears to be on track for its anticipated launch in China next month. The smartphone has now received two major certifications, which means its official debut could take place as expected in August. The latest certification listings also reveal a key charging detail, while recent leaks continue to paint a clearer picture of the flagship’s expected hardware. Here’s what we know so far.
Honor Robot Phone received MIIT and 3C Certifications.
An Honor smartphone bearing the model number APH-AN00 has been spotted on China’s MIIT and 3C certification platforms. The device is believed to be the upcoming Honor Robot Phone.
Although the MIIT certification does not reveal any hardware specifications, its appearance suggests that the smartphone has cleared another important step ahead of its official launch.
Meanwhile, the accompanying 3C certification indicates that the handset could support 120W fast charging, as it is expected to ship with a compatible 120W charger. While certification platforms typically reveal limited information, these new listings suggest that the Honor Robot Phone is progressing towards its expected launch in August.
According to information recently shared by famous Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Robot Phone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim bezels on all four sides.
The handset is also tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and could pack a battery of around 6,000mAh, positioning it in the flagship smartphone segment.
The camera system is expected to be one of the device’s biggest highlights. As per the leak, the phone may feature a 200-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture, 23mm focal length, and 4D gimbal stabilisation. It is also tipped to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The smartphone is expected to use Honor’s Ailai imaging technology to enhance photography performance.
The tipster further claims that the Honor Robot Phone could serve as an early showcase for camera technologies that are planned to arrive with the company’s upcoming Magic 9 series.
We can expect more details in the coming days leading up the launch next month.
