Honor is preparing to unveil a new mid-range performance-focused smartphone, Honor Power 2. Ahead of any official announcement, alleged renders and key specifications of the device have surfaced online. Here’s all we know about its design, display, battery and chipset based on recent leaks.

Honor Power 2 Design and Colours Leaked

Leaked renders shared by tipsters on X and Weibo suggest that the Honor Power 2 could adopt a design language reminiscent of the iPhone 17 series. The images were posted by Weibo tipster Panda is Bald and X user Tech Home @TechHome100. The phone appears to have a rectangular rear camera module with rounded corners placed at the top section of the back panel.

The camera island houses three circular cutouts arranged in a triangular layout with one sensor appearing larger than the other two. A Power branding and an LED light strip are positioned alongside the camera module on the right. The renders also show the Honor logo at the bottom of the rear panel, while the power button and volume rockers are located on the right edge of the phone.

The device is shown in three colour options, which are Sunrise Orange, Snow White, and Midnight Black. Among these, the Snow White variant is said to feature a marble-like rear finish, whereas the Sunrise Orange and Midnight Black options appear to use a matte texture.

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the alleged specifications of the Honor Power 2 on Weibo. According to the leak, the smartphone will sport a 6.79-inch flat LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to deliver up to 8,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, which is notably higher than the recently launched Honor Win.

Under the hood, the Honor Power 2 is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. The phone has also appeared on the Geekbench listing. The listing points out specs such as the 3.40GHz-clocked MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM option.

For photography, the phone is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Details regarding sensor size and video capabilities have not yet been revealed.

One of the standout features of the Honor Power 2 is its battery. The device is rumoured to pack a 10,080mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. For comparison, the recently launched Honor Win also features a 10,000mAh battery and reportedly takes around an hour to charge fully from 0 to 100 percent. While 80W charging may appear modest for such a large battery, it is expected to deliver reasonably quick charging times.

Despite the large battery, the Honor Power 2 is said to measure just 7.98mm in thickness and weigh around 216 grams. The phone is also tipped to feature metal frames, contributing to a more premium build quality. Digital Chat Station has additionally shared clearer images showcasing the device in all three colour variants.

Honor is yet to confirm the pricing or availability of the Honor Power 2. Reports suggest it will most likely debut early next year. The phone is expected to rival models from Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO and Samsung.
