Honor has launched the Honor Pad X9a in Malaysia as its latest mid-range tablet. The company hasn’t made a big announcement for the release and is keeping pricing details under wraps for now. However, with the tablet now listed on Honor Malaysia’s website, here’s a closer look at its specs and features.
The Honor Pad X9a features an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution (1504 x 2508 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.

Powering the tablet is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685, a 6nm entry-level processor from TSMC. It comes with 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded virtually by another 8GB, though storage is capped at 128GB with no expansion option.
For cameras, the rear has an 8MP sensor with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture, while the front houses a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. As expected in tablets, the camera setup is pretty basic but should be fine for tasks like scanning documents and video conferencing.
The 8,300mAh battery supports 35W fast charging, and Honor claims the tablet can last up to 70 days on standby, though real-world results may vary.
Connectivity-wise, the Pad X9a supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 and is compatible with Honor’s wireless keyboard and stylus accessories. However, there’s no LTE or mobile network support.
The tablet runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0.
