Honor has quietly launched a new budget tablet, the Honor Pad X7, in select markets. This latest addition joins the brand’s existing lineup, which includes the gaming-centric Pad GT 2 Pro and the mid-range Honor Pad 10 with a 12.1-inch screen. It’s worth noting that the new Pad X7 should not be confused with the “Tablet X7” that was officially announced back in May 2021. Here’s everything we know about the newly launched Pad X7.
The Honor Pad X7 comes equipped with an 8.7-inch TFT LCD display offering a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. The screen supports a 90 Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 625-nit peak brightness.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. For reference, the Snapdragon 680 is an octa-core chipset introduced in 2020, with an average AnTuTu v10 benchmark score of around 310K.
The camera setup includes a single 8 MP shooter on the back and a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device packs a 7,020mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging and also offers reverse wired charging functionality. It runs on Android 15.
As for design, the Honor Pad X7 sports a metal back panel. It measures 7.99 mm in thickness and weighs 365 grams.
The tablet is currently available in Saudi Arabia. The version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at SAR 449, which is approximately US$119 or €101.
While Honor hasn’t announced global availability yet, a broader release seems likely, considering that previous models like the Pad 10 launched in several European markets.
