Realme appears to be preparing another affordable smartphone for its P4 series in India. According to recent reports, Realme P4s Lite has now received certification from India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The latest certification comes after earlier reports pointed towards the development of another P4-series model. Here’s more on what we know.

Realme P4s Lite Gets BIS Certification

The Realme P4s Lite has been spotted on the BIS certification database with the model number RMX5398. The listing does not mention any hardware details or other specifications, but BIS certification is an important requirement for smartphones launching in India.

Realme has not officially confirmed the device or revealed a launch date. More certifications in the coming days could provide more information about the phone before its official announcement.

Realme P4s Lite Expected Specifications

There is still very little information about the hardware of the upcoming smartphone. According to the earlier report, the Realme P4s Lite could be available in two configurations including 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The phone is also expected to come in Moonlight Silver and Nebula Black colour options.

Some reports have hinted that Realme P4s Lite could borrow some specifications from the Realme P4 Lite 4G.

If that is true, it could feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display, a 6,300mAh battery and a Unisoc T7250 chipset. The phone could also carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Realme could position the P4s Lite closer to the Realme P4 Lite 5G. For context, the Realme P4 Lite 4G was launched in India at Rs. 7,999, while the Realme P4 Lite 5G debuted at Rs. 12,999.
