Reportedly, Honor is on the brink of introducing the Magic 6 series, with the launch event scheduled for January 10 and 11.
As is the case nowadays with most smartphone lineups, this series, is likely to include the standard Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro devices.
Also, there were recent reports of Porsche collaborating with Honor for a smartphone.
Reports are indicating that the Magic 6 Porsche Design is the one everyone is talking about all three devices are expected to be the first to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, alongside other premium features.
The Magic 6 series is anticipated to boast advanced features such as quad-curved OLED displays and super fast charging capabilities, including up to 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Apart from just the specs, the devices will also mark Honor’s foray into the latest software innovations with Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14, a first for the company’s handsets.
Furthermore, the Magic 6 series may also bring to the table the one-inch, 50MP OmniVision OV50K primary camera, catering to the growing demands of high-quality smartphone photography.
The addition of two-way satellite communication support will position Honor alongside Huawei as the second Chinese brand to offer this advanced connectivity feature.
More recently, Honor had announced the Honor 90 GT in the Chinese market.
The device is a dual SIM smartphone running on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2, and boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, it offers up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.
The device features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, complemented by a 16MP front camera.
It’s equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and connectivity options like 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3.
