Honor has unveiled its latest smartphones, the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, in China. The Honor 500 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard Honor 500 features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The devices boot MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and pack a massive 8,000mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the new smartphones.
The Honor 500 Pro starts at CNY 3,599 (approx. Rs. 45,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants are priced at CNY 3,899 (approx. Rs. 48,000), CNY 4,199 (approx. Rs. 51,000), and CNY 4,799 (approx. Rs. 60,000) respectively.
The Honor 500 begins at CNY 2,699 (approx. Rs. 33,000) for the 12GB + 256GB option. Its 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations cost CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 36,000) and CNY 3,299 (approx. Rs. 41,000) respectively.
Both phones are offered in Aquamarine, Starlight Powder, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver colour options.

The dual-SIM Honor 500 Pro runs MagicOS 10 (Android 16) and features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,264×2,736 resolution, 460ppi pixel density, and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness.
For photography, the Pro model includes a 200MP wide-angle primary camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus and macro support. On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera along with a 3D depth sensor.
Honor claims the device offers IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, OTG, and USB Type-C. The phone also integrates a range of sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, infrared remote control, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, compass, and proximity sensor.
The Honor 500 Pro includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports various AI-backed features, including AI face-swapping detection and Password Vault.
Powering the device is an 8,000mAh battery with 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 27W reverse wired charging. Honor claims up to 42 hours of talk time.
The device measures 155.8×74.2×7.75mm and weighs 201g.

The standard Honor 500 shares the same SIM configuration, software, display specs, and IP ratings as the Pro variant. However, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with an Adreno 825 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.
The rear camera setup includes a 200MP wide-angle primary camera and a 12MP macro shooter with autofocus. For selfies, it carries a 50MP front camera.
Connectivity and sensor options match those of the Pro model. Like the Pro version, the Honor 500 also packs an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
Dimensions remain identical at 155.8×74.2×7.75mm, though it weighs slightly less at 198g.
