It appears HMD is planning to expand its Aura series soon as a new budget smartphone from HMD Global has surfaced online. The upcoming device is reportedly called the HMD Aura 3 and now key specs have been leaked by a tipster on X. HMD Aura 3 – Design (Leaked)

In a recent post, tipster HMD_MEME’S @smashx_60 on X shared images of what is claimed to be the HMD Aura 3. The images appears like official renders although we cannot verify that at the moment.

The images show smartphones that seem quite familiar to the predecessor HMD Aura 2 in terms of build and back design. The camera module, however, seems to extended to the right side covering the whole top part of the back compared to the left compressed module of Aura 2.

In terms of colours, the tipster has confirmed that HMD Aura 3 could be available in two colour options named Twisted Teal and Twilight Purple.

According to the leak, the HMD Aura 3 will feature a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate targeting users looking for a smooth viewing experience at an affordable price point.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T606 processor, which is commonly seen in entry-level devices.

In terms of memory and storage, the device is tipped to arrive in two configurations that are 4GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at around ₦94,900 and a 4GB RAM with 256GB storage variant priced at approximately ₦115,900.
