The Google I/O 2025 has recently concluded and it appears the tech giant is already gearing up for another event. But it probably is not about AI, but actual hardware.
According to a recent Android Authority report, Google has sent out invites to its Pixel Superfans program for a “sneak preview of our upcoming devices” happening on June 27 in London. While the invite doesn’t mention “Pixel 10” by name, the timing and context make it a strong possibility.

The invite includes an image showing a Pixel phone, Tablet, Watch and Buds. All the products shown on the invite are most likely just older promotional material. But with designs expected to stay similar this year, it’s still relevant.
The invite was also circulating on Reddit and other online platforms, which made fans speculate.
Traditionally, Google held its big Pixel hardware launches in October, but that timeline has been shifting. The Pixel 9 series launched in August last year and now this exclusive “Pixel Penthouse” event, limited to just 25 attendees, could be hinting at an even earlier reveal for the Pixel 10.
The Android Authority report suggests this could mean a late June or early July launch, which would be a big step forward from the already accelerated August schedule.
It wouldn’t be too surprising since Google has been pushing things earlier lately.
For example, the Pixel 9a launched in March, two months ahead of the Pixel 8a. Even Android 16 previews came out sooner than expected, and Google shifted its Android news away from the main I/O keynote this year to make more room for AI and mixed reality.
It’s also common for phone makers to show off upcoming hardware early to retail and carrier partners. If Google sticks to its usual mid-August Made by Google event, then this June preview would fall about six weeks ahead of the official launch. At that point, hardware is usually locked in, though software continues to get fine-tuned.
Google has done this kind of thing before. Back in 2022, it gave fans an early peek at the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro during Google I/O in May, months before their fall debut. So this June 27 event could be a similar “super early look” for loyal Pixel fans.
