Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7a smartphone at its I/O developers conference next month on May 10th. The Pixel 7a will be the more affordable offering from Google as part of its current generation of Pixel phones. There’s already quite a bit we know about the Google Pixel 7a, and we have now learnt the detailed specifications of the device.
We recently saw what the Pixel 7a could look like through its leaked renders and official cases, which revealed its design and colour options.
As per the information given by Yogesh, the Pixel 7a specifications will be:
* Display: The Google Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
* Processor: Under the hood, it will run the in-house Tensor G2 chipset, the same one that powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
* RAM and storage: The smartphone will pack 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of onboard storage along with UFS 3.1.
* Cameras: On the Pixel 7a, you can expect a 64MP rear camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it will house a 10.8MP front camera.
* Battery and charging: The smartphone will pack a 4,400mAh battery that is claimed to provide up to 72 hours of backup. It will also support 20W wired charging as well as wireless charging support.
* Software: On the software front, the Pixel 7a will run Android 13 out-of-the-box.
With the design and specifications out in the open for the Google Pixel 7a, we already have a good idea about what to expect from the device. The smartphone is also expected to feature a similar design as its predecessor, the Pixel 6a with a punch-hole camera at the top-centre of the display. Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7a in three colour options of Blue, Grey, and White.
There are some speculations around the Google Pixel 7a price. It will reportedly cost $499 which translates to around Rs 41,000. As for the launch date, Google is yet to confirm it but it is highly expected that we see the Pixel 7a debut at the I/O conference on May 10th.

Ans) The new leak shows that there will be three official cases for the Google Pixel 7a. The tech giant is said to be making a case for each colour of the Pixel 7a. There will be a Google logo and a horizontal hole for the visor-shaped camera on the back of the Google Pixel 7a cases.
Ans) The look of the Google Pixel 7a will be the same as the Google Pixel 6a, indicating that the upcoming phone will have a full-screen display with a hole in the middle. The back of the device will have a camera module in the shape of a Visor, just like what we have seen in the Google Pixel 6a and other phones in the Google Pixel 7 lineup.
The leaked images show that the Google Pixel 7a will be available in three colours – Blue, Grey, and White. It confirms what a recent report indicated about the design and colour options.
As per the report , the Google Pixel 7A will be retailed in the colours listed here, but the tech giant could also make it available in another colour that would only be sold through the company’s online store.
Ans) The Pixel 7a is expected to debut during Google’s I/O 2023 event on May 10 alongside the much anticipated Pixel Fold. It is said to go on sale in global markets in the third quarter.
