Google is reportedly working on its next flagship lineup Google Pixel 11 series and a new leak on Telegram has revealed detailed specifications. The lineup is expected to include the Google Pixel 11, Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The leak points to a new Tensor G6 chipset, upgraded camera systems, brighter displays and a fresh design element. Here’s what we know so far.
According to leaked details, the entire Pixel 11 lineup will be powered by Google’s upcoming 2nm Tensor G6 chipset codenamed Malibu. The processor is said to feature a 1 + 4 + 2 CPU configuration including one ARM C1-Ultra core clocked at 4.11GHz, four ARM C1-Pro cores at 3.38GHz and two ARM C1-Pro cores at 2.65GHz.
The chipset is also expected to include a PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU, a Titan M3 security chip, a MediaTek M90 modem, a new TPU named Santafe and a GXP image processor called Metis. It promises significant gains in performance, AI capabilities, and imaging.
The standard Pixel 11 is internally referred to as Cubs and is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2424 pixels and a refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. The display may support 240Hz PWM dimming offer up to 2,000 nits brightness in HDR and reach a peak brightness of 3,100 nits.
The smartphone is likely to come with 8GB or 12GB RAM and pack a 4,840mAh battery. For photography, it may introduce a new primary camera sensor named chemosh expected to be around 50 megapixels.
The device is tipped to be available in black, green, pink, and purple colour options.
The Pixel 11 Pro codenamed grizzly is expected to feature the same 6.3-inch OLED display but with a higher resolution of 1280×2856 pixels and a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display could reach up to 2,450 nits in HDR and 3,600 nits peak brightness.
The device may be offered with 12GB or 16GB RAM and include a 4,707mAh battery.
It is also expected to feature upgraded camera hardware including new main and telephoto sensors internally referred to as bastet and barghest.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is internally called Kodiak and is expected to come with a larger 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1344×2992 pixels and a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. Its brightness levels and RAM configurations are likely to be similar to the Pro model.
The device could house a 5,000mAh battery and is expected to include similar camera upgrades as seen on the Pixel 11 Pro.
The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold is codenamed Yogi and is expected to feature an inner display with a resolution of 2076×2160 pixels and a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. The inner screen may reach up to 2,050 nits in HDR and 3,500 nits peak brightness.
The outer display is said to offer a resolution of 1080×2342 pixels, a 60Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness. The foldable model is expected to come with 12GB or 16GB RAM and pack a 4,658mAh battery. It may also use the same new primary camera sensor as the standard Pixel 11.
One of the key design changes could be the introduction of a new lighting feature called Pixel Glow. This is expected to replace the temperature sensor found on previous models particularly on the Pixel 11 Pro variants and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The feature may include a small RGB LED strip integrated into the camera bar in a more compact form.
The leak also mentions that Google’s rumoured IR-based face unlock system known as Project Toscana will not be included in the Pixel 11 series as it is still under development.
