With the Chromecast users will be able to combine many streaming services into one single UI to find movies, shows, and other content from all their apps and subscriptions in one place.

After plugging Google Chromecast, 4K HDR content can stream at up to 60 frames per second. It also brings Dolby Vision support and support for HDMI pass through for Dolby audio-supported content.

Similar to the previous generation, the new Chromecast too features a voice remote. Featuring a Google Assistant button remote can be used for picking what to watch or asking routine virtual assistant questions.

There is a dedicated buttons for YouTube and Netflix on the remote, and the device can be used to control the TVs power, volume, and input. Your TV must support HDMI-CEC to keep it functional. This feature helps users keep a universal remote and avoid switching of remotes.

Various streaming services such as Apple TV+, Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Voot, YouTube, and Zee5 can be accessed in a single user interface with Google TV.
