Fire-Boltt Diamond is a luxury edition smartwatch that instantly impresses with its premium-looking design.
The combination of a massive round dial, zinc alloy frame, and stainless steel straps together makes a perfect blend of style and robustness.
We received the Basic Black variant for this review and it looks great right from the first glance.
The dial has three buttons on the side.
We were expecting a rotating crown but Fire-Boltt has only provided push buttons for quick menu access.
We are particularly impressed with the black metal strap that elevates the appeal of the smartwatch.
Fire-Boltt has bundled a strap adjustor tool inside the box for used to adjust the straps according to their wrist size since the strap is quite long and most users would need adjustment before they can actually use the smartwatch.
The smartwatch has an IP76 rating for water and dust resistance.
So you can expect this to remain damage-free ensuring minor water splashes.
The overall finish is impressive and the build quality is equally good.
The highlight of Fire-Boltt Diamond is its amazing display.
It has a massive 1.43-inch AMOLED display that enhances the overall appearance and appeal of the smartwatch the moment the display turns on.
This is an Always-On display that wakes up based on your wrist movements.
The display comes with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution.
The colours appear quite bright and clear.
There is a sharpness on the display that makes it easier to navigate through.
Brightness levels are also good.
We tried using the smartwatch outdoors in bright sunlight and didn’t face issue display brightness issues.
The display was clear and crisp even in sunlight.
The touch response of the display, however, is an issue we faced multiple times while testing the smartwatch.
The touch often doesn’t work at once.
There is also a lag in touch response at times that makes you perform the same activity more than once.
The touch could definitely have been a bit more smoother considering the whole premium feel that Fire-Boltt is trying to build the branding on.
To change the display appearance and make it more personalised, the Fire-Boltt Diamond comes with 120+ In-built Watch Faces.
More watch faces can be downloaded from the supporting app.
The Fire-Boltt Diamond is a feature-packed smartwatch that provides almost everything that you can expect from a smartwatch of this segment.
To start with, it provides seamless Bluetooth Calling and Voice Assistance features.
You can use this smartwatch to make/answer calls and summon your voice assistant to perform other functions.
It comes with an In-built Mic and Speaker.
The call quality is good and even outdoors, you can expect to have clarity in the sound.
Other than this, this smartwatch comes with a comprehensive Health Monitoring Suite.
It includes heart rate tracking, sleep analysis, and much more.
There are also more than 300 Sports Modes in Fire-Boltt Diamond that can truly transform your fitness tracking with its complete tracking of every workout from yoga to strength training.
Another impressive feature is the 4GB storage capability.
It is quite convenient as users get ample space for apps, music, and more on the smartwatch itself.
Below are some other features you get with the Fire-Boltt Diamond smartwatch:
Fire-Bollt claims that its Diamond smartwatch can easily support 7 days of runtime on a single charger.
However, battery performance entirely depends on your usage appetite.
If you are someone who indulges in a lot of Bluetooth calling and would like to utilize maximum tracking features, you cannot expect more than 2-3 days of runtime.
However, the brand has provided the following battery life details for reference –
We tried to test the battery performance and were able to get almost 3 days of runtime with more than 2 hours of daily calling and optimum activity tracking.
Overall, if you are an average smartwatch user and would indulge in limited Bluetooth calling, you can easily expect 4-5 days of runtime from the Fire-Boltt Diamond smartwatch.
The Fire-Boltt Diamond Smartwatch is selling in India with a price tag of Rs 4,499.
This puts this device up against several mid-range smartwatches in the under 5000 segment.
This price segment is particularly tricky as users expect some at par with premium smartwatches.
Fire-Boltt Diamond does win the battle of looks and gives tough competition in terms of features and performance as well.
This display looks great, Bluetooth calling works smoothly, and the addition of 4GB in-built storage is definitely an added advantage.
However, it is not without faults.
The major one was the display touch issues we faced during our testing period.
All-in-all, if you are looking for a smartwatch that looks luxurious, supports your fitness goals, manages multiple smart features and you also don’t mind spending a little more than those budget price tags, the Fire-Boltt Diamond could be worth considering.
