Samsung announced its very first smartphone model of 2023, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, ahead of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. It was only a matter of time when the device was launched as it was subjected to many online leaks and rumours since the past couple of months.
It is an affordable 5G model that was announced at the ongoing CES 2023 event where its price, features, and specifications were revealed to everyone in attendance, apart from being spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, implying it will be out in India very soon.
After months of online leaks and rumour mills buzzing about its launch, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone was finally announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 where it was unveiled at the US-held event, which will be Samsung’s first smartphone to be launched in 2023.
Users too were quite excited to finally receive official confirmation regarding the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G as they were getting impatient to learn more about the device due to the numerous online leaks it was subjected to.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be available at $199.99 (approx. Rs.16,500), which is the cost for the unlocked 64GB storage version in the United States and was also listed on Samsung’s official US website where customers got an option to be issued an alert when the sale begins, while the device is available in four colour options- Light Green, Silver, Black, & Maroon.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G comes with a 6.6-inch PLS LCD Display screen, along with a 90Hz refresh rate, which will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC where you get 4GB of RAM.
Coming to optics, the device comes with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera has received a massive upgrade of 13MP from 5MP.
You will also get numerous connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFS, USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. The device has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh units, along with a15W fast charging support.
