If there is one important buzz doing the rounds in the technological field, it is the 5G services, which was launched by PM Narendra Modi in the first week of October 2022 with much fanfare and publicity.

The launch received an extremely positive response from the general public, which is why Bharti Airtel also launched 5G services live in 8 cities on October 6, 2022, which has left many users excited at the prospect of living in the city that has been given the honour.

The cities in question are Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Siliguri, and Varanasi. However, consumers that are getting 5G services have to continue paying as per their existent 4G plan.

When it comes to telecom revolution in India, Airtel has been leading at the forefront since 1995, which makes it 27 years in the business and still continue going strong. Such a feat is not easy to accomplish, which is why Airtel is at the stature and position it is today due to continuously upgrading itself to cater to the new generation of users.

As of now, Bharti Airtel plans to give out the services as per the 4G plan because while Airtel subscribers getting 5G signals in their area can immediately shift to 5G services, they can also switch back to 4G if they feel that 5G is consuming a large amount of data.

Airtel’s 5G Plus Service are becoming quite popular all around and there are many 5G models that are compatible with them namely Apple, OPPO, Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, among others.

5G Network will allow subscribers up to 600mbps speed during the initial launch phase as the handsets are expected to work at par with professional devices like PCs and laptops for data processing and gaining access to apps while Bharti Airtel’s rival, Reliance Jio, is providing unlimited 5G data during beta trial for a handful of consumers having 5G handsets.
