Leaked renders and specifications of the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra have emerged, sparking interest among tech enthusiasts.
Discovered by a Redditor within the firmware of the ASUS ROG Phone 8, these details suggest a design shift towards the aesthetics of ASUS’s gaming phones, specifically the ROG Phone 8 Pro.
This change in design language is quite a notable deviation from the traditionally compact and purposeful design of the Zenfone series, with the Zenfone 11 Ultra showcasing a more robust and gaming-oriented appearance.
The naming convention, “ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra,” was confirmed through imagery found within the same firmware, alongside a basic spec sheet detailing the device’s hardware.
This leaked spec sheet showed that the Zenfone 11 Ultra is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, supporting LTPO technology for dynamic refresh rate adjustments between 1-120Hz, and a peak refresh rate of 144Hz for certain games.
It appears to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, bolstered by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, mirroring the specifications of the ROG Phone 8 Pro closely.
Camera specifications for the Zenfone 11 Ultra include a versatile setup: a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens offering a 120-degree field of view, and a 32MP telephoto camera equipped with OIS for 3x optical zoom.
The device is also expected to feature a 32MP RGBW sensor on the front.
Apart from all this, the leaked specs highlight a substantial 5,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra may also retain the 3.5mm headphone jack alongside dual stereo speakers, catering to audiophiles and multimedia consumers alike.
